So I'd like to start a Pokemon TCG deck but I'm not sure where to start,

I read that it's recommended to pick only 2 COMPLETE evolution lines, the 2 I picked are Chandelure and Aegislash, how exactly should I go about building a deck from there? I also have 2 EX cards (Xerneas and Meloetta) and a Lucian's Gallade, Darkrai, and Kyogre cards.

How should I got about things from there? Obviously new to this.

You want to focus on cards that complement your core Pokemon, and you also want to make sure your core Pokemon complement each other.

Cards that go well in most decks are Professor Sycamore/Professor Juniper (you can only have one or the other in a deck, not both, at least last time I checked the official rules), Cilan, Pokemon Catcher, Bebe's Search, Ultra Ball, and other similar cards.

Alright, so if I get Chandelure and Aegislash, should I run a Miltank that has "Powerful friends"?

It's worth considering. What Chandelure and Aegislash cards are you planning on using? That Miltank may get in their way potentially depending on which ones you're using.

I was going to use Aegislash from XY breakpoint (ghost type Aegislash)

And Chandelure from B/W 3: Noble victories, or from B/W 9: Plasma freeze (whichever works better)
