I'd rather you use your favorite. I literally just got done using Altaria in my monocolor in Ruby and I'm having to use it again for this one, so I mean, if I can do it, you can pull through too. Sorry. :(

So RSE's times for getting Umbreon are the AM hours, and Espeon is PM. What. The hell. Long story short, I had to trade my Eevee to Emerald to evolve it and then get it back. Oh and I had to wait till midnight. Wasn't that fun? lol Anyway...

I've had some... technical difficulties with my DS, so I'll be switching to Emerald. Here's my new planned out team, and my first update:

Ugly Pokemon: Whismur/Loudred/Exploud (You havta admit, they look constipated or something)

Well, this whole TEAM is depressing, if you ask me... But here's the first actual update for ya'll. I can't post pics quite yet, due to my post count, but I'll work on that...

Spoiler:

-Started out as Reese, talked to *****'s - Er, Birch's kid, and then saved Mr. B from the cannibalistic zigzagoon with Frosty the Mudkip.
-Battled Brendan... and lost...
-Grinded until I was level nine for major paybacks
-whooped brendan's @ss
-traveled on to Petalburg...
-Caught Wally a Raltz and met Scott soon after.
-Rushed through Petalburg Woods and helped the Devon guy
-Skipped ahead and caught Noel the Whismur

So, that's where I am now... I'll post pics asap!

Got the Town Map from The Grinch's sister
Left for Viridian City got Oak's Parcel
Returned to Pallet Town and Returned Oak's Parcel
Defeated the trainers in Viridian forest
Leveled Charmander up to 16 evolved into Charmeleon
Charmeleon defeated Brock
Went through Mt. Moon defeating any trainer in my way
Arrived in Cerulean City (finally, my Charmeleon was getting tired)
Fought Grinch in Cerulean city
Defeated all trainers on Nugget bridge (yay nugget!)
Caught and Abra named him Noel
Trained Noel up to level 16 Noel Evolved into Kadabra fighting the trainer's on the way to Bill's house
Got S.S. Ticket from Bill
Went back to Cerulean Gym fought Misty and Noel beat her Staryu easily
Noel beat Starmie with 3 hp left (yay badge #2.)

After this update I'll be posting once every gym or major event depending how much i have to say, the more i have to say the more frequently I will post though no more than once a day. My intention is to complete this challenge as close to the 25th without going over as possible.

SO update 1! man I feel like I'm far behind the rest of you guys


-Booted up firered, yay Kanto-time!
-My mission: to take down the evil anti Christmas alliance (gym leaders) with my team of pokemon!
-Named myself Kringle, named my rival Scrooge (Ebinezer didn't fit :( oh well.)
-Did the pregame stuff
-Picked a Bulbasaur named him Pine even though Bulbasaurs have nothing to do with pine trees
-Trained up Pine to level 13 off of kakunas, metapods, Scrooge and a the bug catchers I couldn't avoid in Viridian forest
-Took on Brock the "coal-type" gym leader. Pine whipped him good.
-After hours of searching, I finally found my first Team Kringle ally! Holly the nidoran female joined the team!
I then went back and trained her up on the remaining bug catchers and viridian forest pokemon until she was level 10. We then went back to route 3, and she kicked the rest of the trainers' butts.
-While looking for a paras in Mt. Moon (which took WAAAAY longer than it should have, so I ended up having to sneak past the girl and go to the Paras only section) Holly evolved into Nidorina! I'll evolve her again at level 22 so she can learn bite and still be able to learn body slam
-Caught a paras, and named her Jingle!
