-Got Houndour as my starter, and named him Oven (something I've been using a lot this season).
-Caught a Meowth for my no STAB Pokeon (and have been avoiding his normal type moves as much as I can). Named him Hairball.
-Got a Cubone, pre-named Rubix, as the in-game trade
-Trained, realized Cubone stopped obeying me ;;
-Got smothered and defeated about 27 times by Roxanne before I managed a win.
-Got down to Dewford, found a Zubat, named her Tree b/c I lack creativity.
-Trained up until Tree learned Wing Attack and Oven evolved into Houndoom. I forgot what level Zubat evolved so it eolved unexpectedly!
I will post pictures in my final update. For now, my team:

Currently raising my team to level 70, then we'll take on the Kanto gyms.
Trainer name: Childre
1
And then we beat Red (and then took out the League again, just because)
Badges: Zephyr, Hive, Plain, Fog, Glacier, Storm, Mineral, Rising, [L], [L], Boulder, Cascade, [L]x4, Thunder, Rainbow, Marsh, Soul, Volcano, Earth, {R}, [L]
Pokemon:
Flurry
Kabutops, M, lv80, miracle seed
Slash, surf, mega drain, ancientpower
[Favourite non-legend]
Hot damn, thunderpunch was a great investment- Starrys kicks arse so amazingly thoroughly.
And since it's Christmas, and that's supposedly about Family, Maelstrom is Spate's father (hence her more-than-just-present-and-fly movepool.)
Slurry's really strong, despite her attack strength restriction.
Flurry pretty much takes anything and everything out with ease, same with Hurricane.
Now to... do... something... um...
I don't even know what to do now...
I suppose I should draw their Challenge Shots.
Torra (Anorith) - Fossil Pokemon
-lvl 23
-Serious Male
-Scratch, Harden, Dig, Water Gun
Kilo (Mudkip)
- HM slave (Rock smash)

2 questions:
-How do I make something a 'spoiler'?
-Who should I teach Shock Wave to, Gulpin or Vigoroth?

Okay, so I've got 3/6 pokemon now. I beat Roxanne easily, Forrest just absorbed everything. I did grind a bit before the battle, catching Artemis while doing so. I used some small cheats just for Daggerless to fulfill his category, and to obtain Artemis, but it's all good. On, to Dewford!

I'm liking this team a lot. But do you think you could replace the Shiny Pokemon with something else? I just don't see myself coincidently getting my first shiny Pokemon trying to complete this challenge.
Edit
You know what? Maybe I will encounter my first shiny playing this challenge. Christmas miracles, I suppose.
Is it okay if I finish my updates after Christmas? I'm going to be away from computers during break, but I should have time to play the challenge so I'll be done before Christmas, it's just that my updates won't. :P
I also have an Emolga waiting in the box to be traded for a Gigalith once I get to Route 7. Currently am trudging through Relic Passage to try and get in some additional grinding before going through Chargestone Cave. I may make another update after getting all the badges and before doing the main story content after Humilau, but if not, the next one will be post-Champion and E4.
I'm wondering if it would be okay if I did another one of this challenge, but just to see how far I can get in a day and a half? (I'm gone on the 25th through the 3rd, so... it would have to be Gen I (Red), given that's the only other gen that I can do proper high-speed in)
Also, I fought the League for an eighth time, then edged my way through Mt.Silver again.
For some reason Red seemed way easier this time? I feel like I can say I beat him Properly this round.
