Well, I've often noticed that at my local EB Games, they tend not to mention Pokemon unless you are the one to start the conversation. Not too odd, I guess. And I wouldn't have really cared had I not done the following:

I went over to the United States last week, and went to the local EB Games down there. Not only did they mention Pokemon, but they had cardboard cut-outs of Dialga & Palkia outside the store, and "April 22nd" in big letters.

I was surprised at the difference between the two stores, XD. Any similar experiences out there? ^_^

The EB Games over here don't really do much. I mean, I haven't been to one in about two weeks, but I don't think they have any advertisements of the game yet. They don't try to hide it or anything though. I've heard employees talking about the games before on their own and the games are always right in plain view, and usually pretty prominent so you can see them.

Also, it might depend on the store. I bet a lot of the smaller Canadian stores don't get the same advertising packages as larger stores, or stores with more traffic (which you're more likely to find in the States). So that might be it as far as the cutouts go. :\ *has no idea*

I've had no such occurences. They still have a huge sign outside saying "Get your next-gen system now!" in large letters. i haven't seen anything inside of the store either...very strange when i think about it.

The stores here are never shy about it. Pokémon, Brain Age, anything worth PR or customers they'll flaunt just for a profit.
