4th Gen Strange Encounter?

I've just hatched 2 new-born male Ralts on the route before Goldenrod City and released the one with the better nature and characteristics in the Daycare Center's PC. I went out to train my chosen Ralts and I encountered a Level 10 Ralts. Is it a possibility that it's the Ralts that I released?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but my knowledge on Breeding isn't my department. :)

It's a swarm pokemon. Sadly, you can't encounter your released pokemon (I'd love to square off against my Eigakan Arceus somewhere). They just go into hiding
