Sometimes when I'm on the GTS, trades are very strange.
    For example:

I'm searching for a seaking, I found one and I check him. He's searching for a staraptor but instead of a picture from a seaking, there's a picture of a staraptor :s

So he's offering a seaking with the sprite of a staraptor ;s

And sometimes, if I have the right pokemon, they still don't want to trade it.
I've got a blastoise with the right gender, but I still can't trade it (the sprite turns grey, meaning I can't trade it)
There's also no level request from the offerer either...

Why these strange things? Is there a reason for? ;(

Yeah! Same thing happened to me! I searched for a Mime Jr., but in a result I found, it was as Munchlax. (I had previously searched for a Munchlax, would it have anything to do with that?)

It does that a lot. People cheat and put those on there so people will trade with them.

O its nothing strange if u nickname a pokemon a different pokemon the sprite will appear as the nicknamed rather then what it really is:P.

False. It just means someone hasn't finished the trade yet.

Step 1: Trainer A offers Staraptor on the GTS, asking for Slaking. This means a picture of Staraptor will appear.
Step 2: Trainer B searches on the GTS, sees the Staraptor, and trades Slaking.
Step 3: Trainer B now has his new Staraptor. But Slaking is just waiting on the GTS. The sprite changes to Slaking.
Step 4: Until Trainer A picks up Slaking, the sprite will still look like Slaking. And when Trainer A picks up his new Pokemon, it'll go away.

You can't sprite hack in the normal game. The code is read only.

Seriously, people scream "omgzers hax0rz" at the slightest, smallest glitches.

    Ok thanks ;)
    But then my second question:
I have the right pokemon for the trade, but I can't trade it on GTS :s My pokemon and gender matches the requirements for the trade on GTS, bit still can't trade it.
