    The Beautiful Introduction!
Ok, so it ain't so beautiful, but it'll do. I want to try my hand at using some pokemon that I've been meaning to put on a team, but always fail to do by the end. I expect a lot of people to find some weaknesses in this team, but why else would I post it in the S&M section if I didn't expect flaws?

    Jirachi@Choice Scarf
Nature: Jolly (+ Spe; - SpA)
    Trait: Serene Grace
    EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
    ~ Trick
    ~ Stealth Rock
    ~ Iron Head
    ~ Body Slam

The adorable bundle of joy has become a staple on all of my teams. He performs
just about any role (save a wall) nearly flawlessly. I chose the Lead set because
I want a fast and reliable counter to suicide leads that are all too common. After
checking out a separate RMT thread Archer turned me on to Body Slam over U-Turn.
Since it has such a high percentage of Paralysis, it's almost too good to pass up.

    Zapdos@Leftovers
Nature: Modest (+ SpA; - Atk)
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 248 HP / 88 Def / 140 SpA / 32 Spe
    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ Roost
    ~ Heat Wave
    ~ Hidden Power [Grass]

Tried to make a strange little EV spread here. He fills that special niche on my team
that I always have problems doing, and that's getting in a Grass and Fire type move.
Fire is devastating to Scizor, which is running around on just about every team I see
now, and HP [Grass] is great for stopping Swampert in his tracks. I set up the SpA EVs
to deal with Swampert, hopefully scoring a OHKO with SR up. Heat Wave is a
guaranteed OHKO against Scizor (probably any variation). It's also a 2HKO on a CB Max
HP Metagross as well as a Lead Jirachi.

    Calculations
    HP[Grass] Max HP Swampert - Damage: 82.67% - 97.03%
    Heat Wave 32 HP Scizor - Damage: 180.28% - 212.11%
Heat Wave Max HP Metagross - Damage: 65.11% - 76.65%
    Heat Wave 80 HP Jirachi - Damage: 60.11% - 70.64%

    Tyranitar@Life Orb
Nature: Adamant (+ Atk; - SpA)
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    ~ Dragon Dance
    ~ Crunch
    ~ Stone Edge
    ~ Fire Punch

DD Tyranitar. What is there to say? I feel I'll be having to make some good switch-in
predictions and hopefully send him in on something I know will switch out. After he's in
hopefully they'll switch and I'll get in a free DD and sweep if possible.

    Salamence@Choice Specs
Nature: Timid (+ Spe; - Atk)
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    ~ Draco Meteor
    ~ Hydro Pump
    ~ Flamethrower
    ~ Dragon Pulse

Good ol' SpecsMence. I have always passed up using a Salamence, but now is the time
to use one. I chose SpecsMence because I remember how annoyingly powerful he used
to be back before Platinum. I'm hoping that I can try him out in these times and he'll
perform well. STAB Draco Meteor with a Choice Specs is probably one of the most
devastating things on this set, and I love it!

    Gyarados@Life Orb
Nature: Adamant (+ Atk; - SpA)
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    ~ Dragon Dance
    ~ Waterfall
    ~ Stone Edge
    ~ Earthquake

Gyarados is often passed up when I make a team, and I honestly have no idea why.
He's a very threatening and powerful pokemon, and he does his sweeping job very well.
Dragon Dance seemed to attract me most as it allow for me to switch between moves.
Offers a STABed Waterfall, and I feel I needed something with a powerful water (and
    reliable) water type attack.

    [PokeCommunity.com] String Shot Caterpie Weak

    Swampert@Leftovers
    Nature: Impish
    Trait: Torrent
    EVs: 240 HP / 52 Atk / 216 Def
    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Avalanche
    ~ Rest
    ~ Sleep Talk

Ok, so the idea behind this set is to replace Empoleon, who played a more defensive role before. So now I need Swampert to play that same defensive role, and I'm hoping that this set will fill that slot. STABed EQ is a great addition to my team, as well as resistance to SR and any rock type move.

    ...............................................................................................................

Now I'm positive there's a lot of problems with this team, so go ahead and rate!

3 of your pokes are Stealth Rock weak :/ it will wear them down if your going to switch alot which isnt good considering Gyara has LO and under SS its gona take a lot out of him per turn. I guess thats all i can give in terms of knowledge seeing as this is my first Rate? or more like help, lol.

Well considering that (which I did notice) I was thinking about putting Leftovers on Gyarados instead. It'll cost him some power, but if you feel that Stealth Rock will really hurt my team, it'd probably be best to put Leftovers on.

However, my other pokemon do resist stealth rock. So it's 50/50. I need to keep the flying type pokemon in however, because my other pokes are EQ weak. I need to keep some pokemon around to switch to that are immune to it. Perhaps I can replace one of the flying types with something that resists ground...maybe Swampert?

I'd appreciate some suggestions rather than pointing out my weaknesses and leaving it at that. :/

I'm thinking Swampert to replace Empoleon maybe.

    Swampert@Leftovers
    Nature: Impish

Rapid Spin might be good. :/ Starmie could fill that role. Replacing Gyarados might be the best bet. He seems to be hindering my team a lot, and having two pokes that rely on setup I think is a big mistake.

    Starmie@Leftovers
    Nature: Timid
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 136 HP / 156 Def / 216 Spe
    ~ Rapid Spin
    ~ Recover
    ~ Thunderbolt/Ice Beam
    ~ Surf

This is to replace Gyarados. Now that I think Swampert will work a bit better, I have no need for Gyarados as much. Rapid Spin here for help with SR weak, Recover to improve its durability, Surf for STAB, and not sure whether I want T-bolt or Ice Beam. I only have one Ice type move on my whole team, and that makes me feel guilty for the amount of coverage it provides. I think it's better than T-bolt in this situation, but I need help on this nonetheless.
