    Earlier today, I was looking to subscribe to a thread so that I can keep up to date with the content being published there. However, in regards to the subscription process, I would like to propose a new idea to be implemented. My suggestion for the subscription modification would be to allow the members the selection of being notified through their notifications here on PokéCommunity instead of being notified through E-Mails.

    As great as E-Mail notifications can be, it can pose as a hassle for others. I'm not sure about other members, but I would not want my primary E-Mail or addition accounts flooded with PokéCommunity E-Mails as it becomes a clutter. It would be much simpler if a member could log on to PC and be notified if there has been a post in a certain thread they had subscribed to. Some people may not have time to check their E-Mails and would like to check the direct source of activity or per se their interests and once they arrive on PC they would have their notifications awaiting for the posts in a thread they subscribed to; rather than spending additional time finding the thread.

    I believe this would give the members a quicker way to their subscriptions and a choice to a different notification type than just E-Mails. It's nothing big, but it would be nice to have around.

    Again, I am proposing this to be an additional function of the subscription tool and not a replacement.

    If you choose "No email subscription" in your options, you can go to this page: https://www.pokecommunity.com/usercp.php and see a list of all your subscribed threads with new replies. Which is what it sounds like you want.

    I for one am subscribed to too many threads for notifications to not become a chaos for me if this was implemented. So as long as it would become an optional feature, just as with the current subscription options, I wouldn't mind. :3
