I would like to make a suggestion.

Expired yellow card infractions should be removed frome one's profile.
There's no point in keeping them there after they expire.
I know accumulating 25 red cards (active or expired) can lead to a permaban but I don't see anything accumulating a certain number of yellow cards does.

Only you and staff can see them. It lets both of you keep a record of your behaviour in the past.

We keep 'em so that if you repeat an offense we can be like "WHAT, THIS HO-OH TOTALLY BROKE THE RULES AGAIN, THAT PROF. BIRCH >:(" and then give out a red card instead of just a yellow one.

It's also always good to have a record of any rules a person breaks for when we consider modding people, consider further consequences on stuff, etc. etc.

Just don't break any rules and you'll be fine. ^.^

Just curious, when someone is being considered as a mod, does having infraction mean they won't get the position?

And there are lots of rules that are easy the break accidentally. An example is the double posting rule, which is easily broken by a person clicking their mouse one too many times when their internet is being slow or accidentally triple-clicking instead of double-clicking.

I'm sure it does decrease their chances of becoming a mod, but I believe that if they improve on their behavior a while after getting the warning/infraction, their chances could probably increase again.

I'm not entirely sure about that, though, so don't hold me against it.

Yeah, but those are obviously accidental, they have the exact same content. The proper double-post rule is for spamming stuff and reviving it by double-posting.

    You can't beak rules "accidentally".
