Im sure the dog would rather rest in peace then be made fun of and felt sorry for by everyone.

The dog doesn't know the difference, and the owner doesnt care because she's happy with the dog.

People should feel indifferent anyways. i know i do. to me, that dog is just like any other dog.

I have 2 that died. One was "put to sleep" or uthanized whichever term you want to used. My other one died at 5 from bloating...which tore me to peices. Right when I thought I was better, I'd tear to peices again...it was really really sad...

I felt a lot better about the one being uthanized, because it had cancer, and lived to the fullest it's dying day. Even though it had cancer, it still brought me it's leash when it wanted to walk and still played with every since toy. Other than when it walked up and down stairs and when it was laying around did you notice it wasn't feeling well.

When my other dog bloated it was quick, there was nothing anybody could do about it. No warning signs like cancer. It's just a random occurance...so the randomness was what tore me up, since there was absolutely no reason for the dog to die that young! He was still uber young to die... ;_;

I'm sorry...;_;
My dog lived to her fullest too...she lived to 18 or so...and though she got catarax in one eye and had major kidney problems she acted like a puppy to the end...
