We have to go to ours too... well, freshman and sophomores do. Juniors and seniors only have to go if they're in the middle of the day. Next semester I'll get to go in late and leave school early. <3

And yeah, I know you've been back to school for a while. XD I was just stating the fact that I just started, whereas you're already half way through the quarter~

I don't think I'm lucky.....first they told us in order for us to graduate we must serve 40 hours of community service still think I'm lucky?

Is that test thing like, state testing or something similar to that? I've never heard of that test before. O_o;

Kratos- 40 hours of community service isn't that hard to complete really. I have to do that much this year for the National Honors Society... and I had to do 15-ish a couple years ago in order to be able to graduate~

Really....cause I thought it would be really hard to do....I suppose it could be even worse though....

40 hours? At my NHS division, we only have to do 8-12 per year O_O; I feel so sorry for you...

Er, well I don't have to do 40 hours... I think it was 16 per semester or something like that. So 36-ish this year, I guess. It's not really that hard though, they give us all the opportunities through the NHS so it's not like I have to go community service hunting. For some of my hours I'm going with my friends to build a scarecrow down in the colonial part of town for the annual Halloween scarecrow contest... and it actually counts as community service. XD No need to feel sorry for me~

Kratos- Nah, I don't think 40 is a lot... maybe that's just me though. Do you have all four yeas to do it, or do you have to do it all at once?

What I did this year shouldn't have counted as community service either but it did XD I watched the schoolhouse of a former president for two days, and had almost no visitors, so I just brought anime dvds and watched them on the dvd player/tv they had there and just relaxed x_x;

XD But that actually is community service, minus the DVD part. Building a scarecrow for a contest, just isn't. But it should be fun. I've never entered the contest before.

For some more of my hours I'm helping out at a craft fair by giving pony rides to kids~

So yeah... definitely not the court-ordered kind of community service. XD Community service really isn't as bad as people make it out to be... unless of course you are doing the court-ordered kind. Picking trash off the side of the road doesn't sound very appealing.
