Sun Stoners!

    Sunlight is a new substance you can get stoned on plz. :D

    Thus far, Sun Stones only evolve Grass types, and all of said types end up being pure Grass, even if their pre-evolution typing is different, as in the case of Gloom. I'm not sure what the reason for that is, but it's certainly interesting, and I love me some Sun Stones, so I am making this poll. :D

    I voted for Elfoon; I like the other three (well, not Bellossom; I mean I like it, but I always evolve my Gloom into Vileplume, because it's better, cooler and toxic), but it's hard to resist Elfoon's mischievous cuteness. I adore Sunflora, but I wish she was a better Pokemon, and had a slightly better design. And Doredia is nothing short of epic win, but a bit too much like Roserade in what it can do as far as moves and stats go, sooo... still, it's growing on me a lot. I may end up liking it better than Elfoon, but I doubt it...
     
    hmm i went for bellossom.... i used to like it alot when i was playin crystal back in the days...and im itchin to train a vileplume soon....
     
    Togekiss doesn't evolve with the Sun Stone.

    XD Have you been playing around with ActionReplay? That's the only way I can think of evolving Togetic using a Sun Stone. I don't see why you'd need to, since a Shiny Stone will evolve it just fine, but hey, some people do crazy stuff with their AR, like putting Flash Fire on Roserade, or giving Wonder Guard to Spiritomb, lol.

    I had a feeling it had something to do with the sun being 'pure'. So therefore it cancels out/wipes away the impurities of other types. Meaning it wipes out the poison typing in Gloom. Just a thought!

    Anyways I love all the Pokemon that evolve by use of a Sun Stone. I'd like to comment on Erufuun and Doredia, but until I actually use them in the game I think it may be unfair to pick them above the others. So out of Sunflora and Bellossom I like Sunflora a bit better. For some reason it's always been one of my favorites out of the pure grass types.
     
    I'm going with Bellossom, since it's like, the only Grass-type I've ever used in-game.
     
    I'm going with Doreidia because she can fire off drawback-free Petal Dances off of 110 Special Attack (thanks to Own Tempo). I'm also leaning towards Sunflora because it gets Earth Power to maim (most) Fires and Steels with.
     
    I looove elfoon!!! She is the most adorable pokemon and currently my strongest in Pokemon Black! <3

    wtf? When and where does Sunflora get Earth Power? O_o Only Cradily and Torterra get it afaik. But if she does get it somehow indeed, that's awesome.

    XD Ewww, everyone's voting for Bellossom, even though it's actually the worst (ability, moves and stats-wise) out of all four, seriously.

    Sunflora may be slow as hell but it's got Solar Power and 105 base spA plus Earth Power, therefore it's automatically better. :D
     
    Doredia! I don't know why, but it is my favorite Gen V grass type. Besides maybe Marakacchi
