Emerald hack: Super Mariomon

Game's great. Thank you so much for creating what's always been floating at the back of my head lol I feel like some high key captures are absent tho. Clawdaddy from Yoshi's Island should be a capture. Has the vibe down and could be a Fury Cutter = Moody/Tactician attacker. Dorrie would make incredible sense and would be the Lapras of Mariomon. Raphael The Raven/Raven also feel like it should be a capture. Bounce, Earthquake and Spark would be great coverage moves for the Raven. Cobrat from Mario 2 could evolve to Tryclyde.
 
so i beat the game legitimately, then turned on Content creator mode to see what it did.
out of curiousity, does it lock shiny encounters? or am i just VERY unlucky, cause i've been running around the shiny Galaxy with a lure and the shiny charm, and nothing's sparkled yet.

Would be cool to see more encounters. Imo Mallow, Geno & the others from the Smithy Gang should be in for SMRPG reps. Goombella and other characters could be in for Paper Mario
 
I've played up until rainbow road, I saved and took a break. After reopening retroarch the game upon loading is stuck in turbo mode with no audio. Is all hope lost? The game is unplayable at such speeds and I seriously don't want to start over at 136/151 ;-;

I don't use retroarch so i dont know what settings you got yourself into but trying playing the game in mgba or pizza boy if on mobile.
 
Any chance the balance of the pit in New Donk City will be changed? I want to complete the pokedex but going through 21 floors is very tedious and is too rng based imo, especially when the only way to reliably escape wild battles is getting Yoshi with Run Away. All the rest of the legendaries are much simpler than this to obtain, such as solving a puzzle in a dungeon, and to me it seems a little extreme.

The Pit
- Losing prior to Floor 22 will only reset your streak back to the last multiple of 7. Example: losing on floor 21 will start you from floor 14, losing below 14 will take you to 7, and so on
- Added 12 new Rental Captures to the Pit
- Added 2 new groups of wild captures, and made the groups repeat in order starting with the 5th group
- Changed the music to be the underground music

- Fixed a bug that would cause a bad egg to appear in Box 3 of the PC after defeating Giga Bowser
- Fixed a bug that was causing a #000 to appear at the bottom of the Tattledex
- Fixed a bug that caused held items to get shifted around/deleted after a Nuzlocke death
- Fixed a bug that caused form changing captures to overwrite others when dying instead of dying properly
- Fixed a bug that caused graphical errors, and then a crash in the TM Case
- Applied general clean up to the TM Case graphics
- Fixed a bug that would cause battles in World 5 to freeze on start, causing a softlock
- Fixed a bug that caused Captain Toad's AI to constantly spam weather moves instead of going for damage
- You can no longer toss the Power Glove as Captain Toad
- Disabled rain in the credits in Main Street/Route 4-1
- Fixed a bug that would cause the game to freak out if you used a repel while the Gadd-Pel was active or vice-versa
- You can no longer sell the Exp. Share
- Disabled phasing moves from working in multi battles, which would cause your party to get mixed with your partner's
- Healing & Reviving a teammate now properly works in double battles, and will no longer cause the Mega Evolution loop in certain circumstances
- #151 will no longer take damage from sources such as status or rocky helmet during his boss fight (and ONLY his boss fight)

Note: We're still looking for ways to truly recreate some lingering bugs, such as the rare remaining Captain Toad Jank. If something happens to you, please include a full description of what you were doing, as well as ensure you're on the latest patch. Video would be most helpful.
 
Hi everyone! We've done a few iterations on the really important stuff that needed fixing with 1.4, so 1.4.2 is now available.

Our next patch will likely be a 1.5 a few months out, where we fix a ton of things at once again. That is, unless something game breaking is found of course. Thanks for bearing with us and we hope you have fun playing Super Mariomon!
 
Is there any way to transfer saves from a 1.1 Game to a 1.4 Game or should I start all over? I played and completed the 1.1 version, but I'm wondering if there is any way to keep playing if I get the new version.

Most of the time dev(s) tell you when save files are incompatible with an update, so I'm assuming you are save.

As for transferring saves, make sure the new patched ROM is the same name as your old one when replacing it.
 
Thanks a lot, I managed to make It work 😁. But I seem to be unable to redo the dev multibattle and can't get the new item, any thoughts?
