I have no idea what the rule is for this, but I think you have to either guess the full word or none.

From what Ive seen usually if one part of word gets guessed you just put the word as a guess.
Like:
SUPER - _ U _ _
Letters: A E I O S U Y, SUPER
Strikes: 4/8
But if you're still unsure I'll change my answer to "P".

Nopes, there's no such rule. If the word guessed is correct, enter it in the appropriate place & if its wrong, count it as a strike & put the whole word in the Letters Guessed column, as mentioned above.
It can't be Sucker Punch bud, its 5 & 4 letters respectively :P.
EDIT: I think I have it, is it Super Luck?
