The worst is with Captain Falcon. He bashes it upwards and its gets annoying.

The best I got is also Yoshi with 456.3 meters (so around 1500 feet).
Also try to hit the bag in the air, that way you could get that xtra meters/feet you'll need.
Don't grab the bat just run over to the sandbag and smash Up + A after 4/5 times when it comes down just use falcon punch (B) and it shall go around 250 feet.The worst is with Captain Falcon. He bashes it upwards and its gets annoying.

id hope so. as awesome as ssbm was, there were some flaws. do u think they'd make a version for DS?

yea, but theyd have to tweak it up a bit if it is the 64 version. i 'd get through the adventure mode in te n minutes because its not like you didnt know what was coming.
