heres something that happened to me:

i took my memory card with over 400 hours play time and all trophies out to bring over to my friends. i decided i wanted to play a few matches with my bro, so i turn my gc on without my memory card. it says something like " no memory card inserted. continue?". so then i put my memory card in and i though it said " data found on memory card. load data?". ya know? thats what it usually says. but it said " data exists. overwrite?". of course i am an idiot and didnt read it carefully enough and then it went bye bye. then i got everything the next 2 days. i somehow got no damage clear on my first run through all star mode with falco. after i did that, i didnt really care that all my data got erased. it was mostly the stats being erased that i was mad about. just thought you would want to hear a little story.
 
that's nice, bub, my bro keeps deleting my data, but now that he doesn't play without someone else there it hasn't happened
 
it wasn't funny at the time, but now that i look back on it, it is pretty funny. i was punching my walls when i did it.
 
Jeez...I have no idea what's going on....so I'll just jump in with a topic of, what's your best record in any event match?

My best event match score was the 4th one with .56 seconds. I have the story to back that claim.

You know how the Giant Yoshi jumps about the stage before the match begins? Well, he jumped off the cliff and died right before the counter even began. So once his death registered, the timer stopped at the record time above. I wish I had a picture, but there isn't one around. But once there is a photo, I'll post it and prove it for disbelievers.
 
Does anyone have a picture of Giga Bowser from Adventure Mode? If anyone can find one, please show me.



I can't reach him because of that stupid Underground Maze which makes me dazed(hey, that rhymes!)

I don't play Event Matches much so I don't really have a record. I did do the first one in 21 seconds though.
 
Seing a long bar of text is so ugly, so it was replaced with the word!
 
Yep. Ugly as all sin, but he is a tough fighter. Very tough. But nothing a good whupping can't handle.
 
Giga Bowser is my absolute favorite monster in that game. He is the most intimidating and frightening. My fear of the monster died after I thwarted him with Link. You all act like he has been digested and regergitated on the computer screen. Until now, I could not believe a creature of such magnificence and power would be compared to lifeless slime. Oh well, he is quite a scare.... :tired:

By the way, I completed Event 4 in 2 seconds. Do not ask me how, it was years ago.
I have decided that, since I cannot repeat that time, achieving it was a matter of complete chaos. It might have been Bowser's doing....

I have no favorite character, for they have all served me too well in the past. Each one is incredibly unique and powerful; I fare well with each one, for I know the strengths of each character. I try hard to master each one.

But lately, Peach has been my strongest character. She has the greatest techique, so she can handle almost anything.

My favorite character was once Link, until I discovered Bowser's strength, making him my favorite, until I uncovered Mario's exellent aerial ability. Then, Peach, Zelda, Samus, Mr. Game and Watch, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
