I've managed to do it once...
Get the homerun bat. Stab the bag five times (not fully charged) with the homerun bat. Then Falcon Punch it. Then, some how, you can get over 300... I have only succeeded once...
 
Ugh... Forget that. I'll never manage anything in the Home Run Contest with Captain Falcon. I am still convinced that he and Sheik are completely useless in that area, unless, of course, you can tell us how your friend manages such an implausibility. XD
 
With Captain Falcon, I use his Up smash a couple of times. That can do a lot of damage, then follow up with Falcon Punch before the bag hits the ground. That helps me out. As for sheik...not sure...don't like Zelda/Sheik
 
Coolmaster, you did not quite prove otherwise, oh well. It appears that the best way to manage it with Zelda is to make use of both of her forms. There is no reason to get indignant.
 
Does anyone know if Jigglypuff is a bad add-in, or there's some secret power house behind it? o.o;

Even though that post is very old, YEAH RIGHT! I HAVE MASTERED EVERY CHARACTER!!!! Execpt for maybe Ice climbers and marth... can I join? Mario is my best, Bowser is my Fav
 
Ah Jigglypuff...my cuz best char...Well, let me explaon a thing or two bout the Rest move.

When jigglypuff does rest (down+b) it looks lame. But if The foe is within JP when Rest is activated, they suffer a massive attack that is a rival to Ganondorfs Warlock Punch, but slightly weaker. The draw back is that you're vulnerable for a counter.
 
When I use Jigglypuff in The Showdown, I start by getting rid of Giga Bowser. It's too easy! I just need to inflict 20% damage upon him and with the Rest ability, he leaves the stage in a second. The other two characters are easy prey without their pet dragon, considering that I have mastered Jigglypuff along with every other character.
 
I can actually pummel my sister with Jigglypuff. She's not a bad player either XD

Basically, I just hit with physical attacks and rollout a lot.
 
O.O Forgot all about this......XD Good to have it backl. Which reminds me....I wanna play melee.....

My mum took my Gamecube away coz I didn't do my homework... :(
I'm getting it back in a few days.

My favourite character is now Jigglypuff.
