The last time I checked, Snake from MGS is from Konami...

As for the Sonic in SSBM thing, it's pretty hard to do it without controversy. Because if Sonic was stronger than Mario, then Nintedo will be whinning. If Mario is stronger than Sonic, it'll be Sega whinning. Also, it's hard to balance characters in this game so there will be controversy.

As for other third party games: unless they beg Nintendo (and go down on their knees) like what Konami probably did, Nintendo will probably have just one third party character. ;D

Keep in mind, everyone, that the characters look this good because these are cut scenes. Still impressive nonetheless.

I hope the Nintendog they showed is an item. It's going to be fun if I can throw puppies at people Mr. Saturn style.

I'm hoping MGS is player's choice; it's going to be required playing for me. I don't like knowing nothing about the characters I use. If Revolution is cheap enough, I'll buy it for this game and nothing else. Thank goodness the game isn't going to rely on the remote.

This game single-handedly turned me from backing the PS3 as the best console of the show to the Wii. Bravo, Nintendo.

Though I still want to punch Reggie Fils-Aime. He's so full of himself.

I surprised by seeing a Wii version (and it was better than i thought) of Link.

MetaKnight wasn't a surprise for me, but what it surprises me, is how he fights, wow.

Zero Suit Samus, that was unexpected... i wonder if it will be like Zelda/Sheik or like Mario/Dr. Mario?

And Kid Icarus... i never heard of it, but Pit seems to be a tough opponent.

Wario... he kind of killed the video --; i don't know why he was added.

And for the new looks, i liked Pikachu's SSBM better ^^;

Solid Snake?? Now that's another story, but it's kind of "very realistic" for SSB, D:

The best part for me was, the super attacks, it seems that it can be used only if you get the sphere with the symbol of SSB. o.o

There's the theme, since I saw it being talked about but dunno if it was posted. (Or I think this is it, anyway. Read the page in Japanese and found the English link but didn't bother reading it. Just know it mentions Uematsu as the composer on the page. XD)

Looks like they're taking character/music suggestions on the feedback page. Dunno, though, so I'm scared to put anything in. (Plus I'll butcher their language and make 'em less likely to pick who I want. XDD)

One of these pages is a feedback form and says something about characters. Looks almost like they're taking character suggestions but it's late and I can't read Japanese properly. DX Would be awesome if they were, though.

Agreed on both comments. I think this was all I needed to allow myself to become somewhat accepting of the Revolution, even if this acceptance is based solely on upcoming games.

Fils-Aime is the chief dispenser of the "innovation" line. Of course I'm going to have problems with him.

Not all of it was cutscene, though, and you could pick out what wasn't. So... I dunno. XD

It all looked like cutscene to me, but I haven't seen the videos, so I suppose there'll be in-game action sequences there. The video sizes would make my poor computer die a horrible death, though, so I'll have to wait XD


I'm hoping Nintendo uses good judgement in their character selection. My top picks, if I were to enter any, would have to be Ike (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance), Captain Olimar (Pikmin), Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia), and, out of personal love of the obscure, Aries (Cheetahmen).

Man, I knew Nintendo was going to show SSB in some sort of way at E3, during their media briefing I was wondering when they were going to show SSB and when they didn't I was dissapointed but then I thought too myself, "They have to show it.......they'll surprise everyone.....I know they'll show it though." Then when I went to IGN and saw SSBB I was like, "I knew it!!" The new characters are cool, I really like Pit from Kid Icarus, but what I didn't see coming was Snake, I would have so preffered Sonic though, Sonic vs Mario, ou know you all want to see it. I really hope they include Sonic in, here's hoping that they do.

I read about this on ign and everything looks great expect that Wario is in his warioware outfit and he looks dumb........I was looking foward to Wario being in the game but now I'm not.

Pikachu looks the same in Brawl as he did in Melee.

No, Miyamoto has said that they were thinking about adding a few more 3rd Party characters in this game.

It is completely possible for Sonic to be in there, and even Megaman.

This page explains the poll, just click the button at the bottom of the page to start.

Doing so will take you to the poll page. Enter a nickname in the first box. The second box has a drop down where you can choose from three selections. To sugest a character, choose the LONG option in the middle. (The top is items, and the bottom is music)

The third box (the really big one) is where you insert the body of your suggestion. I chose to include both an english and a Japanese version. If you choose to do the same, just write your english message, and copy it into google translator and select 'english to japanese'. Then copy the japanese text into the poll message box under the english version.

Although the site is in Japanese, you can easily make it through with the aid of google translator...
