Actually Mira, I think we should wait until tomorrow to do it. I'm exhausted right now and my brain is skipping like an old record player.

I'd prefer to wait until tomorrow, when I'm actually rested and I can unleash my full creative genius ;)

Oh snap >.<
*waits for tomorrow*
*goes insane from waiting*

Can you post a list of berries that are on the island? I want to what ones Calliope can use ;)

Right, here's an SU :) :

Name: Marko Guinnero
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Personality: Marko is a sociabale kind of person. There is a number of occasions where he will attemp to strike up a conversation with the next guy - even if it's to no prevail. He will usually try to find something to talk about and try to limit the number of nemies he has in life by making friends. However, he can read the other persons feelings, and if they aren't up for socialising, then he'll leave them alone. He is a kind type of person too, for example: if he's annoyed, he will try to keep his cool around people and let them down easily. However, when really angered he will snap. To him, being part of a social group is important as it keeps him busy.

Marko has many hobbies: when in Dewford, he was very interested in surfing and would occasionly go out on a good day in Goldenrod. He is also quite creative - he likes to make things by hand and keep them as memories. Sometimes, he will collect a number of leaves, sticks, stones and the like and see what he can do with them. Painting and drawing is a particular skill of his: with him experimenting from pencil on paper to chalk on a slab and so on. These are the kind of things that keep Marko entertained, and hence her only on few occasions will watch TV or use his PC.

Marko also has a particular social trait when interacting with Pokemon, usually befriending or talking to weak wild pokemon. However, he only choses the pokemon with the best potential in battle, and his social level means he has lots of them.

Appearance: Marko is around 6 feet in height and of a medium build. His face looks particularly smooth with the exeption of the odd groove here and there. His eyes are a deep blue and his hair is a chestnut brown, combed upward. He isn't particularly muscular but he is a sturdy fellow.

Marko wears a white long sleeve shirt under a grey, short sleave one. His cargo pants are slightly baggy and a deep brown colour, aswell as this he has black and white trainers and a Poketch/Pokenav combonation on his right wrist. Finally, he has a small white bag slung around his shoulder.

Bio: Marko lives in Goldenrod City, and has a wealthy family, thus he was able to afford his poketch-nav (as he calls it). With this money, the family had no objections to letting Marko go out on an adventure with pokemon. Marko dosen't set out to conquer the gyms though, he simply wants to collect a team or strong, efficient pokemon. Marko's parents gave him his first pokemon - a Gible who he named Lao (Lay-oh) - on his 16th birthday and let him venture off into Johto.

Since then, Marko has travelled to Sinnoh and caught himself an Aron - who he calls Ironmaiden. Marko, now with both a Lairon and a Dragonair, is travelling back to his home in Johto for a family visit.
Pokémon: Gabite > Lao (Lay-oh) (male) - Lairon > Ironmaiden (female)
Pokémon Info: Lao is, and always will be, loyal to his master. As far as he's concerned, Marko is the one who brought him up to be the pokemon he is today. Aside from this, they also both see each other as best friends, with Marko guessing what Lao might be trying to say with his actions.

Ironmaiden is less caring towards Marko, but she still respects him as a person and he continues to gain her trust. Also, she will get jealous should Marko get too comfortable with another female, and will often show her displeasure.

Hope it's good enough :D:D

Just a note on the moves (not so much on the ability), but Dutcheese is ignoring levels, and the 4 max moves thing. That is to say, if for example your Dragonair is really good, it would naturally know an advanced move of its stage of evolution. Furthermore, it would also know Dragonite specific moves, but not be very good at using them (just think of it as trying to light a match and only smoke coming out), that like once it trains to become better, and evolves, it will have learned it finally (the real world's answer to leveling basically). It also depends on how you wrote your pokemon.

I hope that helps and makes sense :) (for that matter, if I am correct on it XD)

EDIT: Only 2 more people to post up :D

My post is up and ready for reading! =) Man, my character sure is a b-word. I promise you though, I'm definitely not like that, lmao.

I've never done a character like this though, so I thought it would be interesting to try it out. :)

Zephyr, I'd like you to elaborate on your character significantly. You didn't give us a whole lot to work with.
Also, about the moves. The way i'm going with this is mostly from a view close to the Anime. You don't have a set of four moves. As your Pokemon progresses so does it's move pool. You see. So if you think your Lairon is mature enough to handle, say, Double Edge, than you can sue that battle. In the same way, when your Lairon matures enough to handle that attack it will learn it.

Also, I don't ant you to have a Dragonair, it is a Pokemon you could fly on and we have a no escape policy on this island. So change that please.

and thanks Feign for being actively involved with this thing, too. I appreciate it if you guys would help others out when I'm not here.

Candy, don't worry. Just because your character's a B***h, doesn't mean you are. We're all roleplayers here, and we understand how it's like. Unless there are people who model their characters like themselves, which isn't an issue either, they probably just won't understand as well :) I, in fact, love to play characters with huge egos and quite a swearing problem. It's fun.

Mira, I'm going to allow you to go wild with it really. Do what you want with the berries.

Actually, Kaze (when I usually play him on a PG-17 site) has a potty mouth. XD That was one of the things I had to tone down, because it's like a f-bomb factory when he gets going... -sigh-

It's weird- I don't actually model characters on myself, but I often find that little slithers of their personalities or one of their quirks are similar to mine. XD Granted, I'm not a hyperactive, cross-dressing acrobat, but I'm sure there's something about Kaze that's reflected within me. :3 Does anyone else get that with their characters?

I don't know why, but I usually make my characters entirely different from myself. I don't know if they're subconsciously a little like me, but not intentionally. Plus, when you make a lot of characters, you can't avoid not having one a little like you in there somewhere, right?

Dutchesse: Be careful with using the word "wild" with me ;) Most people usually regret it afterward :P
I just wanted to check, thanks!

Yeah. ^_^ I strive to do that too, which is why I mostly play male characters... You can't get much more different than gender. :P Though my males end up slightly more effeminate than most... XD What can I say, it's fun to play metrosexuals/ pretty-boys. :D

*is bored*
*dies from boredom from waiting for RP interaction*
Rawr, I have a short attention span ;)

you see. I'm the exact opposite. I base most of my characters heavily on myself... so they usually end up retardedly stoic and either music or car obsessed.

don't worry, Mira. you're not alone with the short attention span!
...wait, what'd i say?
x'D [/dais from stupid joke]

bleh, my characters are the opposite of meee...most of the time. usually one or two things about my characters are similar to me...but my charrie for this RP is the total opposite of me. yay.

Yeah, my character is pretty much the opposite of how I am too. xD I think one of the first characters I roleplayed as was sort of like I am, since I figured it would be sort of easy to start out with seeing as our personalities were the same. I think it's good to roleplay as someone with a different personality than you have IRL though, so you could possibly understand things better in their perspective.

Like if you're really outgoing in real life, but roleplay as a more timid character, you could see things in the point-of-view of a person you know IRL that is shy and maybe get an idea of how they may feel in certain situations and things like that.

I think I like playing different characters because it's a challenges. I love challenges. It's more difficult to put your mind into someone that is completely different from you.
And then there's the fact that I have no idea what kind of personality I have. Random, I guess. I'm nice most of the time, but I also tend to b***h about people. So yeah. I can't really put a label on myself.

Also, I strive to play as many different characters I can. One of the reason why I make a new character for each and every roleplay. no recycling for me.

Mira: Okay, go wild sensibly with a lot of common sense! No going overboard please xD (better?)

@Dutchesse - Sure, I'll get to editing all that stuff :P

*is bored*
*is really bored*
*is so bored that she couldn't find a word in her thesaurus that could properly describe the sheer intensity of her boredom*
Yeah... None of the RPs seem to be moving...
About what time is it in the day, do you think? Are we pretty much going to just meet up or get started on setting up a camp?
