Syddy Claus' Challenge

UPDATE:

And so, after nicknaming my Pokemon, i ventured into the mountain that was named Coronet. I have heard, through out my journey, that Coronet is where everything began, where it split Sinnoh in half. And now, this is where Galactic will end. I stocked up on my Hyper Potions and Max Repels, and off I go. I enter via west of Hearthome, and immediately used Max Repel. training could go later. I am here to save my energy for Cyrus. I defeated all those lowly grunts, and the two commanders. Finally I set sight upon Cyrus. But, lo and behold, he had awoken the temporal pokemon, Dialgia. I knew he messes with nature. I taught him his lesson. After a long and grueling battle, where Golem and Volt fainted, Lee finally struck the final blow. Cyrus ran, shame-faced, never to be seen again. Rowan and Dawn went up to me. They said Dialgia is in pain, and I need to ease it. But I, too, am in pain. I decided to simply throw my Master Ball, and release Dialgia afterwards. i caught it, as I fell to the ground, exhausted. I woke up in the Pokemon Center of Pastoria. I knew I succeeded, but not yet. There are still five trainers stronger than me, and I still need to defeat them. Volkner, Sunyshore's Gym Leader. Aaron, the Bug Master. Flint, the Fire Emperor. Bertha, the Ground Mistress. Lucian the Psychic Revenant. And Champion Cynthia. I will never rest until I defeated them all. I proceeded to train west of Sunyshore, and decided to find my last team meber: an aerodactyl. I found one, in the grass, and caught it. Nickname: Erro. I boxed it, vowing to train it further later. For now, it is time to grind.

Update 1

Today we meet Gyeoul and her friend named Yuki,
or "Winter" and "Snow".
Where they will journey, nobody knows.
The cold region of Sinnoh holds many a mystery.
Maybe they'll uncover one, or two, or three!
Yuki ever the impatient one, just couldn't sit still.
Gyeoul had no choice but to follow his will.
1 million, 10 million! Simply too much!
Why was this boy always in a rush?
Gyrados Lake was certainly not swan friendly.
Nor was it for them, those pokemon were fiendly!
Following Siddy Claus' list of rules, Gyeoul made a choice.
"What's Christmas without a tree?" She chose the tortoise.
They made it home in one piece, willing the pounding of
their hearts to cease. Mom gave Gyeoul a present before she
flew. Running Shoes are something all trainers should use.
2 Bidoofs later and Sandgem town she went. Would Rowan
be a Scrooch or more of a gent? She named her Turtwig
Sprout, for he was so small. "A little thing like you
can't even hold a ball." Another gift, a Pokedex, and then
a little tour; a back track to home and a journal for where
she'd roam. "5 Pokeballs and potions should be more than enough."
But while playing secret Santa, she received more than she thought.
5 Pokeballs from Lucas and a Map from Yuki. Sprout grew another level. "This season's not rough!"
A few battles won, and more money accrue. Gyeoul saved her game for the time being. "That'll do."
She'd return later in the day with more balls in use in her bag. Red, White, Ice, or maybe a stag.

Soo... I just now remembered I haven't done this challenge yet. Since I still have a week, I'll quickly power through this and then go back to my Ultimate Solo Challenge. I'm playing on FireRed since that's the version I'm most familiar with, and unlike normal challenges I'm on an emulator since I don't own FireRed and I don't want to erase my file on LeafGreen. This should be fun since I get to use a bunch of weaker pokemon that I like, but would probably never use on a competitive team, and they also appear late-game normally so I wouldn't really use them on a single-player team either.

Ice-Type Pokemon (Glalie)

EDIT: Well, due to having other commitments, among other things, it looks like I'm not actually going to be doing this.

UPDATE:

And so, after a day of grinding, I stood before the final gym leader, Volkner. He looked down upon me, obviously underestimating me. I gave him a battle so hot, it reignited his passion. I walked off successful, holding the beacon badge in my hand. Off to the Victory Road. Trainers inside were surprisingly strong, and I was took by surprise. I realized I still need to train some more. I went out again, grinded then finally entered the Victory Road. Even with my Pokemon on a higher level than before, the cave is not actually a walk in the park. I exit the cave with Golem and Screech fainted, Lee at 9 HP, and no Flamethrower left. I was glad for the sight of a Pokemon Center. After I healed up, I grinded some more, fearing high level Pokemon inside the league. And when I think i am ready... BAM! Rival challenged me. He was no push-over either. I defeated him, Volt and Erro fainted. But I won. I won. Now, to more level grinding. I deduced i need to have all my Pokemon's levels from a range of 55-60. 54 and 55 are not high enough a level. I still needed to train some more. And so it begins. With my remaining Rare Candies helping out to speed up the process, I finally had my team at 60. I guess it was enough for the league. I exhausted my stash of cash, leaving only 34 dollars with me, and I entered the fortress. Aaron was no joke. It killed Erro, but that was it. i won against him. I proceeded to Bertha, and she went down without much resistance. The only thing she probably did is lower my PP's, and my brought Hyper Potion. I have so few of that. Flint and Lucian were hard also, both leaving Erro and Lee down, the latter taking Volt also. I started to fear the champion.

And then I have an urge to do a second one, seeings as I finished my first.
Aahhh...
Do you think it's okay if I do a Ruby one?
*honestly already picked a team*

Silver team is currently level 54-56, hanging around and training outside Cinnabar island, on the note of the challenge, though no Kanto badges obtained.

Final Update:

An so, I stood upon Cynthia's gaze, her dark eyes looking at me unflinchingly. And I knew we had to do it. We battled. And after a long and grueling battle, we were left with one Pokemon each. Golem, Volt, Screech, Erro, Yeti, ll of you had helped me throughout my journey. it is time I lay you to rest. I will end this story with the way I started it. Lee and I stood defiant across the field, with Cynthia and her Roserade still standing, smug. There was hail falling, and both combatants were hit by the rock hard-snow. Lee struck first, and in a cloud of smoke, I saw Roserade fell in a single Flamethrower. The Hail mysteriously stopped as Cynthia recalled her Roserade. I won. I was the Champion..
