You'd probably be wondering why I'm so happy, and am taunting Japanese and American gamers. Well, it's because something incredible is going to happen on European shores - the debut of a Zelda game outside of Japan!!! This will be the first time it's ever happened, and it's coming to Europe before America - on November 12th. The game's called TLoZ: The Minish Cap for GBA. Ooh - I'm so happy. :D

Eu…rope? Is that the place we send the old games we've beaten countless times? =P
    Kidding,kidding. That's cool. XP

That's not really kidding. It takes ages for games to come around to European shores, and when they do, American people will have beaten the game countless times. The only recent exception to this is FR/LG. Europe hasn't got it yet, but will get in October - only a month after America and 6 months after Japan.

The people at Nintendo are laughing at me, I know it. @_@ Not only that, but you guys get THE GREATEST GAME BOY EVER FORGED! A gold AGS with Triforce and Hylian emblems! *drool*

I've heard about that game I don't know when it's comming out in the US.

Well we have had countless games before you, so this is one game your going to get before us, to lets see well I lost count of how many games we got before you. :D

Actually, it'll be at least the 3rd. Metroid Prime and forecoming Metroid Prime 2: Echoes are released in Europe before anywhere else. I'm sure there are others, none of them come to mind right now.

Me too, we get a lot of games before other places too (I think).
That's the point I'm trying to make. America always gets the games before Europe. So you can stick this in your metaphorical pipe and smoke it metaphorically XD But... yeah... w00t! :D

Noo!!! I have to wait longer for the Minish Cap! Nooo!!!! oh wait, i might just get the rom. ( I will end up getting the cartridge anyway though)

Europe are getting games quicker these days because now NOE translates directly from the Japanese. Instead of having to wait for the Americans THEN translating from that.

Minish Cap is being released here first because of the DS. Which we don't get until March 2005. They want to keep the DS in the public eye and focus on selling it. Whilst also selling bucket-loads of Minish Cap. So they've delayed it to a time where they can safely flog it and still make money on both it and the DS.

It is nice, however, to be on the other side of things for a change. Though when Americans say "That's not fair!" To it, it's a complete lie. ^^ It's the most fair thing in the world and it's about time more stuff like this happened.

Oak, you got you DS info all wrong. The DS is coming out November 21'st in US. we are getting it before Japan too.

It's coming out HERE in March 2005. You get it in November. Hence you don't get Minish Cap then so that the DS gets all the focus.

    Read the post more carefully.

I would have thought that it would be one of the first things you'd think to do when commenting on someone and their specific location.

also, just bringing this up Nintendo Of Europe do not translate pokemon games.

They just use the us version with different packaging.

    *grins*

Like I've always said, even if we did everything right, europe would still hate us for getting video games before them XP

The promotional ploy theory is actually valid. I'm guessing that there's going to be a brochure or pamphlet of some sort in each box of The Minish Cap advertising the DS. Good idea, actually, I can't argue with nintendo on that point.

Nintendo of Europe translates the European games into German, Italian, French etc. The UK alone received the US Versions in the new packaging.

However, the reason we're getting FR/LG next week, only 3 weeks after the US is because NOE now translates directly from japan for all their games. So, whilst we in the UK more than likely simply get the US Version, because the rest of Europe are getting their translations done quicker, we're benefiting too.
