"Wow."
Cathe's eyes gleamed with awe. She looked like a seven year old with her goofy grin and her teeming exhilaration. "This is where you live?" His home was twice as big as her and that was fairly colossal.
"No, Xaphanel, that's why it says 'Kakeru Estate' over there." Eric stated sarcastically, rolling his eyes. Really! Could she be any more idiotic?
He wondered why he even brought her here. They merely met a few minutes ago and now she was at his home. He couldn't figure out why he didn't just leave her alone outside, cold and hungry?
Oh, that's why.
Being a child born from a known prosperous family along with her childish attitude, he found it hard to leave her unaccompanied. He gazed at her and sighed. She looked far from a child of wealth, though. He then instantly brushed off his thoughts at the sound of her call and glanced curiously at the girl.
"What is it?" He inquired aloofly, gritting his pearly whites in annoyance. He tilted his head towards where Cathe was pointing at and rolled his eyes, exasperatedly sighing. "So what? You have butlers and maids, too, you know."
"Yeah, but not that much. Only like ten or twenty!" Cathe exclaimed lightheartedly, cheerily waving at all of them. "And I ask them to not wear those fancy uniforms. So I keep forgetting that they're our maids."
"You are so?" He held his tongue. Relax. She'll tire out, sooner or later.
Eric shot her a glare then faced one of his butlers, telling him to help her inside. He then asked his maids to ready a bath for her and a sleeping garment; it was getting late, after all. And he knew better than to let her sleep elsewhere.
"After Aki-kun shows you around, go follow the maids, Lisa-chan and Ino-chan. They will have a bath drawn for you and pick your night attire in the closet in the room you're staying at. Then go downstairs for dinner, be sure someone accompanies you since I just know you'll be lost." He stated domineeringly and briskly as he walked inside the mansion.
Cathe was left, head spinning in confusion. She was glad that the butler, Aki, explained everything Eric said slowly and more thorough.

"Master, Lady Cathe?erm, Cathe-chan?fell asleep already. We would just serve her a hearty breakfast tomorrow morning for her to regain her strength. And your necessities for tomorrow are all ready." Lisa, one of his personal maids, stated softly, curtsying at her master.
Eric, groaning, stood form his seat and nodded at the woman ahead of her. "Thank you." He said as he started to his room. "Tell mother and father, wherever they are, that she will be staying here for a while. It looks like she doesn't want to go home yet. She would be joining me in summer school as well." He was being impassive again.
"Goodnight."
Lisa breathed out a sigh. That would always be him; always acting calm and collected when a raging storm of emotions was brewing up inside him.

"Wakey, wakey~!"
It was early in the morning and, quite frankly, Eric didn't want to get up yet. It was unlike him, yes, but he was so exhausted yesterday, preparing everything that was impromptu for annoying Cathe.
"Give me a minute more." He mumbled groggily, raising his blanket to his cover his face.
"Eric-kun~! You're so late for your school thingy!" Cathe cried, shaking him frantically. "Late! Late!"
Eric's eyes immediately snapped opened and he scrambled off his bed, glancing at his wall clock. It was twelve thirty-seven already?great. He groaned cantankerously and leaped on his bed again. "Forget it. We skip school today." He muttered incoherently, gritting his teeth.
"Yay!" Cathe animatedly exclaimed, bouncing with ecstasy?as always. Cathe had always disliked going to school. Hearing that she had to attend summer school devastated her! She always loved meeting new people, though, so she finds going to school a ?tad- worthwhile.
"Nee, Eric-kun, can you show me around this town? I'd love to meet the people here!" Cathe inquired, breaking the eerie silence, as she continuously poked Eric. He, meanwhile, remained silent. His fists were already clenched a he was getting really exasperated by her, more so than before. He breathed out a sigh and nodded.
"Fine." He knew he would regret ever saying that.
