"Yes...come on! I want to go! The weapons are calling my name! They're saying 'Come Andre, we're waiting for us. Don't disappoint us!' And I don't mean to disappoint them!" I said laughing as I ran as fast as I could to the harbor town. (Thrax is a harbor town right?)

<OOC>Yep!<OOC>
I took off after Andre, smiling. I shouted over my shoulder "Docks at 12:00! Don't be late" as I neared the borders of the city. My first destination was a small mage's shop I'd visited on my last time through there where I'd bought my staff. Maybe they'd have a good spellbook or two.

The mage's shop was much as I remembered it, a massive building that from the inside looked more like a library than any sort of store. One wall was lined with staves, everything from simple oak walking sticks like mine to ornate creations wrought of steel. I moved up to the third floor, where the most potent (and expensive) spellbooks were kept. I finally found what I was looking for, a section devoted entirely to battle magic. aking one of the tomes down gingerly (and with a great deal of distaste) I paged through it, seeing if it was worth the hefty price tag. Large portions of the book were bloodstained. Battlemages often met sticky ends. It seemed to be just what I needed. Stoneskins, shield charms, killing spells, magic missles...it was all here. I took the book to the clerk, a wizened old mage of small renown and paid slightly over half of all the money I'd accumulated over the past three years for the tome. Face grim and the book tuked inside my cloak, I left the shop and turned towards the dock.

All the while I was holding all the swords that Thrax had. And seeing which one fit me. Then I moved to the axes, and then to the daggers, and then to the staffs.

Then I laid my hand on a scimitar...it was poorly crafted and they had better conditioned weapons. But this one caught my eye. I paid for it, because it was cheap for any type of weapon. And then a Katana caught my eye and I bought it which wasted all my money. "I don't have enough for food now..." I said disappointedly. Then I shruged happily and said, "Oh well."

I walked around the town proudly with my new swords by my side.

"Where's David?" I asked myself as I noticed he wasn't any where to be seen.

"Huh? David!? I'm coming, buddy!" I said running out of the town and in the direction of the cry.

Pulling out my scimitar and Katana I jumped up and stabbed one in the back. "That's what you get for kidnapping my best friend!" I said at the fallen man.

The other one came at me. "Time to test out my cool new weapons!" I said laughing as I blocked the guys saber and came up with my Scimitar. "Man! I love these weapons!" I said doing alittle victory dance.

I dumped cold water on David and said, "Hey! Wake up, buddy!"

I was heading for the dock when I came across Andre and david, talking quietly. Cheerful as ever, I said "Hi guys! What's going on?"

"Yep" I mustered, pulling out the thick spellbook. I saw a rip in the back of David's clothes, immidiately asking "What hapened?"

"That won't do at all" I replied, lifting my hand. "Here, let me heal that up."
