I finally caught up to them...
"Thanks for waiting!" I exclaimed, "So, what are we talkin about?"

"It's maybe two week's walk down to the coast, then maybe a five-day boat trip across the channel and up the Gyoll" I replied in an offhanded manner, adding "So if you think you might get seasick, get out now."

I yawned, still not quite woken up and said to the new kid "So you're David. Well, we're headed off to my hometown of Nessus, I guess. Dunno where most of these folks came from."

"Hmm, lets see..." I mumbled as I pulled the map out of my pocket, " There doesnt seem to be one in the town, but there is one a bit east from there."

I looked the map over a couple of times.
"Hey Andre, we were always told there were 10 shards right?" I asked him, "Well this map only shows nine!"
I was acting cool about the whole thing, but I kept asking myself over and over in my head about what would really happen in the end....

"So there IS one in the Citadel" I said quietly, more to myself than anyone else. I was lost in a bit of thought, wondering how those two could possibly get past millineia of enchantments around the Sanctum. I put on a bright smile over those thoughts and said "Well, I don't think it's that curious. The Demonians would probably have one under their control and under an cloaking spell."

"Well I say we still need to get into the Citadel anyway. Because it does show on in the Headquarters, and if they don't have the under a cloaking spell, they probably won't have anyother one under a spell." I reasoned as we grew nearer and nearer to Nessus.

"Oh," I said apologetically for butting in. "Getting into the Citadel won't be a problem. The Silverhand family takes a permanent residence there and it's always open to those with an invite from us. It's getting into the Sanctum that'll be difficult." I thought over the numerous defenses around the place, defenses that each silverhand child tried to penetrate once and usually only once. "The Sanctum" I began again "Is at the top of the central tower in the entire complex. There are thousands of years worth of warding glyphs around it, each layer nastier than the last. Only the head of the Silverhand family is allowed entry into that chamber. Maybe they'll allow the Chosen access, but knowing my father..." I sighed regretfully here, thinking on the man. "I'd say that's unlikely."

Rose was walking far ahead of the others, but listened to every word they were saying. She was still being quite quiet.

<OOC>We're on the first day of the trip. If no one minds, I FF this two weeks to a port town where we'll be catching a boat. If not, speak up and I'll edit this post.<OOC>

The next two weeks were rather uneventful, the main amusement being everyone getting to know each other. On the morning of the fifteenth day I found myself smelling salt in the air and looking onto the massive port city of Thrax. Shouting, I called back to the rest of the group "Come on guys, let's get going! We're most of the way there!"

saphira spen up. she loved the sea, even though she had never been there. she caught up to kiltheon. "wheres the boat?" she asked.

OOC: We're just talking and walking, getting closer to Nessus.

IC:"I see. Then maybe he can be persuaded." I said.

I then turned David and said, "Your rule is to collect the shards, you are the only one that can touch them, and each peice you collect will give you powers, but I don't know what powers. You are then to open the seals to the flying castle and reassemble the shards into the crystal. I heard the Demonians have taken the castle over, and they're leader is there, so that'll be our hardest fight." I then thought hard to see if that's all I've been taught. "Yep that's all I know." I said shrugging.

-------------------------------------------

"That's great!" I said laughing and running excited to finally rest and spend the money that I collected.

Instead of speeding up, Rose slowed down. She hadnt been getting a lot of sleep lately sinced she met Kiltheron and the others. She sighed and tryed to pick up her pace.
