Couldn't decide on which prefix is needed because of it describing two similar games that are different in their own way, but as the title suggests - I want to look into getting started with TCG Live as a Pocket player going in.

So far, I do know that the differences between the two are that energy is in card form, trainer cards play a vital role in deck building, and all cards are based off real world ones that require you to get codes for by buying them in the real world. And you have 60 cards in a deck instead of the 30 from TCG Pocket.

Is there anything else I'm missing or need to be aware of before making the switch over? Right now, I'm trying to clean up my phone's storage space so I have room for the said app to fit. Many thanks in advance.

The actual TCG is significantly more complex than pocket, you'll find there's a lot more emphasis on resource management, the discard pile has lots of cards that interact with it and you can deck out (ie when you can no longer draw from the deck, it's a loss). We also don't have prize points to take, you take six cards off the top of your deck (after set up phase) and place them face down to the side, these are the prize cards.

I have some codes I can give you to get you started and live gives you a lot more packs and cards than pocket does, the seasonal pass is free (everything in app is, you cannot use real money on the app) and is full of packs.

I will keep that in mind when I get to setting up the app! I had some in the past but they were long discarded because at the time I didn't think I would be interested in TCG Live.
