For the first eight seasons, 4kids handled the Pokemon dub. 4kids is quite infamous for all their unreasonable (and sometimes ridiculous) censoring and editing of the Pokemon anime. After Advanced Battle, 4kids gave up rights to Pokemon and the dub has since then been done by TCPi (The Pokemon Company International). Both companies still edit the music and change it, however, TCPi doesn't as heavily edit the Pokemon anime. Now...

Which dub do you like better? 4kids or TCPi?
How did you feel when you found out 4kids stopped dubbing the Pokemon anime?
What would you change about either of the dubbing styles?
Do you think an uncut/unedited dub is ever possible?

4Kids definitely has the better voice talent, although the music is pretty generic. The switch and replacing the voice actors just felt cheap.

As for the censoring, it can't be completely unedited. The US has different standards for showing violence than Japan and I understand removing as much as the Japanese cultural references as possible for airing the show here.
