    Welcome to TC's Speed Breeding Challenge! Are you a fast, efficient pokémon breeder? Do you consider yourself the best? Test your skills and crown yourself in TC's Speed Breeding Challenge as PC's fastest pokémon breeder!

    The challenge will run for 3 days with one round per day. A pokémon will be announced before the round begins.

    Rules:

    • Everything must be done in a copy of Pokémon X or Y.
    • You must breed a Pokémon with the exact same characteristics as the announced one. This includes Egg moves, Nature, Pokéball, Ability, Nicknames and TM's.
    • The first participant to post a photo of the pokémon in question wins the round.
    • The judges might ask a participant to trade them the entry pokémon if needed.


    Example:
    Pokémon: Skrelp
    Nature: Naughty
    Ability: Poison Point
    Pokéball: Premier ball
    Egg moves: Haze, Play Rough, Venom Drench
    TM: Frustration

    Let me know if you need assistance on the template; I'd love to lend some hand to you! Also, maybe you could try jotting down your rules in bullet-points? It would be much easier on the eye that way.
     
    I know you obviously can't do this in the draft but you might include a start and end timestamp so people know exactly how much time they have to get x Pokemon. This looks really good and quite fun!

    Should probably make sure that the Pokemon being bred is one that is available in both X and Y without trading or Friend Safaris, that way it's most accessible to all players, since not everyone participating will necessarily be trade regulars.

    That would be great Necrum, thanks. And yeah, that's what I was thinking. Something that poses a challenge but that can be done without trading and Friend Safaris.

    The challenge will run from July 9 through July 11 with one round per day. A pokémon will be announced at 12 PM EDT and you'll have until 12 AM EDT to post your entry. You will be able to do everything without trading, using version exclusives, pokémon bank and the likes. Only a regular run though the games is needed.

    Rules:
    • Everything must be done in a copy of Pokémon X or Y.
    • You must breed a Pokémon with the exact same characteristics as the announced one. This includes Egg moves, Nature, Pokéball, Ability, Nicknames and TM's.
    • The first participant to post a photo of the pokémon in question wins the round.

    • You must sign up using the form found below.

    I can help make a list of Pokémon you'd like to use and make sure they're accessible to everyone on XY, if you want, like Necrum pointed out. I think it'd be best to avoid egg moves, as some may require FS, version exclusive, or transfered parents. Wacky nicknames could be a trait we can require. HA Pokémon fresh from the horde would be a neat hunt, as there are creative strategies that make them easier to find.

    True, the egg moves might make it really tedious and no one might be able to finish it or even try. I like the nickname idea a lot! HA horde pokémon would be neat as well. :)
