    Hi guys,
I'm pretty new here so forgive me if I'm not posting in the relevant thread. I have about 15 lv100's consisting of a lot of legendaries but tbh I'm not sure how I should choose the best 6. Should i make sure I have at least one type of every Pokemon? Should I base it on which Pokemon have the highest speed? etc. Please help tnx

Sure these are all my level 100 Pokemon:
    Charizard
    Blastoise
    Mewtwo
    Staraptor
    Tyranitar
    Milotic
    Lugia
    Salamence
    Mew
    Arceus
    Ho-oh
    Darkrai
    Metagross
    Deoxys

Thanks if you can help <3

Charizard and Blastoise are only good in their Mega forms, so you'll need to pick one out of the two.

Here's what my setup would be:

Blastoise, Salamence, Deoxys (Speed forme), Metagross, Staraptor and Mew. Note that most of your team are Ubers, and this will be frowned down upon if you battle someone else who doesn't use them:

    Sets for each Pokemon:

    Blastoise:
    -Water Pulse/Scald/Hydro Pump
    -Dark Pulse
    -Aura Sphere/Ice Beam
    -Rapid Spin
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef
    Item: Blastoisinite

    Salamence:
    -Dragon Dance
    -Outrage/Dragon Claw
    -Earthquake
    -Fire Blast
    Nature: Naive
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry

    Deoxys Speed:
    -Stealth Rock
    -Spikes
    -Taunt
    -Fire Punch/Superpower/Magic Coat
    Nature: Jolly/Timid
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
    Item: Focus Sash

    Metagross:
    -Stealth Rock
    -Meteor Mash
    -Earthquake
    -Bullet Punch/Pursuit/Trick
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
    Item: Leftovers/Iron Ball
    Ability: Clear Body

    or
    -Meteor Mash
    -Earthquake
    -Bullet Punch
    -Zen Headbutt/Pursuit
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
    Item: Assault Vest
    Ability: Clear Body

    Staraptor:
    -Double-Edge/Return
    -Brave Bird
    -Close Combat
    -U-turn/Quick Attack
    Nature: Jolly/Adamant
    EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Band/Choice Scarf

    Mew:
    -Stealth Rock

    -Roost
    -Will-o-Wisp/Taunt

Thanks for the detailed reply Platinum!
I was just wondering isn't Mewtwo better than Mew? Also my staraptor is pretty ****, it was traded via GTS from Japan

Mew gets the nod ahead of Mewtwo because the former is allowed in OU teams, while Mewtwo isn't.

In some places, competitive battling is divided into tiers. OU is one of the tiers, and stands for "OverUsed". It's the tier most commonly fought in. The tier list goes like:
    Ubers, OverUsed, UnderUsed, RarelyUsed, NeverUsed.

Battles in the Battle Spot and VGC aren't tiered, but some people get upset if you use Uber Pokemon in battle. Platinum suggested Mew over Mewtwo to avoid that since Mewtwo is classified as an Ubers Pokemon while Mew is classified as UU. Though I've seen quite a few Ubers on Battle Spot anyway.
