That would be the idea. Given that we have 3/3 Monotype teams and you are free to change movesets. Honestly, it does not take a genius to see that if the final bosses are going to be any kind of threat here they need an edge.

Agreed.

But don't you think having an uber against a set team that has to face many other monotype teams is enough? But then if one were to lose they would have to face all 8-ish commanders again. And then they did and they lose again at the hands of an uber. So they have to yet again beat all the commanders.

That seems a bit harsh, doesn't it?
The ubers thing is rather fair, but the one chance rule is a bit extreme.
I mean, what are the chances of one beating all of the executives in one run, without losing. I have already lost to three commanders, and they lack any ubers.

I will take your comments into consideration.

I just do not like the idea of someone sticking around the Executive level, rechallenging the same one every day until they win. That erodes any threat they pose entirely.
 
i think we should have a vote to like have 5 pokemon that are ur type for the gym or something -_-

It can be like you have 2 chances, simply.
If you lose twice, you restart.

Lol I was thinking more along the lines of maybe a period of time you have to wait before challenging the same executive. It could be rather long too, I could wait. I just don't think I have it in me to face the same 8 people again and come up with a fresh strategy, just to obviously be the underdog in an uneven fight come executive time.

That's just my problem though, and I am not the one in charge, so whatever Scientist Davis sees fair I'm sure will be.

Yeah, a long long time period of waiting can be good too, tough.
 
I will take all of this into consideration. As for the layout of the Commander teams, Valen, that shall remain the same until someone defeats all the Executives and earns that 100 DP. At which point I have already decided a revamp of Team Destiny will take place. However, no change should be made now. Let us play this design out.
 
Polkop has defeated me 2-0. I'm not one to call hax into play, but an untimely flinch definitely altered the outcome of the game.

That aside it was a good match.
 
I have deeply considered the concerns you each displayed last night, concluding that the current Team Destiny system is, indeed, flawed. I plan to restructure it not later, but soon. Quite possibly now.

Challengers may lose their progress depending on exactly how I end up augmenting Team Destiny. If they do, I will compensate them with bonus DP. For the moment, I highly suggest all challengers take a break and wait to see what happens.

Commanders and Executives do not need to fear for their positions. They will be exactly where they are when this is over- things may simply work a little differently.
 
well, he did ask before you decided to put it on hold, so i thought id take this last challenge
