    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Missyg (OU RMT)

    Metagross @ Occa Berry
    Adamant
    252 HP/236 Atk/12 Def/8 Spe
    Bullet Punch
    Explosion
    Meteor Mash
    Stealth Rock

So here's my SR lead. He sets up SR, (maybe) KO's some threats with Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash, and when I see fit, I blow him up and take down something with me.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Missyg (OU RMT)

    Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
    Timid
    Magnet Pull
    252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe
    Thunderbolt
    Hidden Power [Fire]
    Explosion
    Flash Cannon
Here's my steel killer. He gets rid of Scizor, Skarmory (damned phazers), and other problem steels that are problems for Mismagius. Can also deal with most Abomasnow (provided they don't have Focus Punch, Earthquake or HPFire) with Flash Cannon/HPFire; auto-Hail/Sandstorm is a idiot to Mismagius as well. HPFire reliably dispatches Forretress and Scizor. Again, when he's served his job, he goes boom.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Missyg (OU RMT)

    Scizor @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    Technician
    176 HP/192 Atk/94 SpD/48 Spe
    U-Turn
    Pursuit
    Bullet Punch
    Superpower
Who doesn't love CBScizor? Bullet Punch/Pursuit craps all over Gengar (who outspeeds and rapes Mismagius) and Azelf (who can also be problematic), U-Turn is an awesome scouting move that puts a dent into whatever switches into Scizor, Superpower gives a pretty immediate solution to steels/bulky Normals. Oh, and how could I forget Tyranitar? CBScizor absolutely crushes pretty much any Tyranitar without a fire move (most of them don't have one anyway).

    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Missyg (OU RMT)

    Salamence @ Life Orb
    Rash
    80 Atk/252 SpA/176 Spd
    Draco Meteor
    Fire Blast
    Brick Break
    Roost
So here's my wall-breaker/fighter "counter." His place is probably the one I'm questioning the most right now, though.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Missyg (OU RMT)

    Heatran @ Choice Scarf
    Timid
    252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe
    Flamethrower
    Earth Power
    Dragon Pulse
    Hidden Power [Electric]
Revenge killer. With Dragon Pulse, he hits dragons and HPElectric kills Gyarados (who causes this team problems).

    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Missyg (OU RMT)

    Mismagius @ Leftovers
    Timid
    108 HP/180 SpA/220 Spe
    Substitute
    Calm Mind
    Shadow Ball
    Hidden Power [Fighting]
Every damn thing the rest of the team does is so that Mismagius can sweep late-game. The set is self-explanitory; Sub+Calm Mind laughs at any Blissey trying to ruin my sweep, and Shadow Ball+HPFighting hits everything for neutral.

    Take it apart, guys.

    *image removed* Hi!

So yeah, Gyarados pretty much destroys you. Dragon Dance Life Orb 'Dos with Dragon Dance / Watefall / Earthquake / Stone Edge has the power to destroy your entire team in the blink of the eye. The worst part of this is that it has quite a few chances to come in and set up; Heatran in general (you'll switch-out 99% of the time unless you're ballsy and go for the burn), Magnezone's Hidden Power Fire / Flash Cannon, and basically every move on Scizor's arsenal. Once in, it Dragon Dances, and OHKOs the rest of your team easily.

Okay, so while it may seem hopeless, there are ways to cushion the blow. First and foremost, change Heatran to a Choice Scarf revenge killer. You need it for Infernape and Lucario, who are also problamatic. You could add Hidden Power [Electric] on it, and use a Timid nature to ensure you kill Adamant Gyarados after a Dragon Dance, of course, this may not be preferable, so you could keep the standard Fire Blast / Earth Power / Hidden Power Ice / Explosion. You could even consider Dragon Pulse to thoroughly kill Kingdra, whom with a Dragon Dance hurts your team with Waterfall / Outrage. On Scizor, while full offense may seem nice, you might want to make a bit bulky, to handle Shadow Balls, Draco Meteors, and random Surfs better. A spread of:

    176 HP / 192 Atk / 48 Spe / 94 SpD

These EVs allow you to live 2 consecutive Life Orb Latias Draco Meteors, as well as living 3 Gengar Shadow Balls (unless they roll maximum damage all three times). 48 Speed outpaces standard Magnezone (OHKOed by Superpower, or escaped via U-Turn). 192 Atk leaves you with a respectable 567 stat, meaning you still a ton of damage to things such as Latias, Tyranitar, Heatran, etc...I suggest this spread to better handle Latias, Gengar, and Starmie, who all hurt your team. You have no way to stop a Life Orb Starmie besides Magnezone's Thunderbolt, as your specific Scizor spread gets OHKOed by Hydro Pump 41% of the time, and with Stealth Rock it's guaranteed. The spread I reccomend, however, lives Hydro Pump even if Stealth Rock is on the field.

I'd probably make Magnezone the standard Steel Killer, or even Life Orb if you wish to screw Blissey, and more importantly, Snorlax (whom is a bigger and better Mismagius counter).

Whoa... I forgot Gyarados while making this team. Thank god I didn't run into one while using this team...

Anyways, I'll make the changes you suggested. Thanks! Anyone else rating?

EDIT: Who's gonna be my status absorber then?

Status absorbers are overated imo (and are set up fodder on most cases), i never use one and do fine since you can just play around it.

    Toxic : - Tran/Meta/Scizor/Zone
    Burn : - Tran
Sleep : - Who uses sleep moves anymore lol ? Meta can take it and then you can just move on.
Paralysis : - Meta is already slow as hell so wont care either way.

I mean status absorbers are ok, but i honestly wouldnt go out of your way for one.

EDIT : And is it just me or does DD Mence cause you real problems ? I have an EV Spread for "tank" metagross that survives a +1 DD LO EQ from adamant mence even with SR up, so you might want to consider it, it has Ice Punch too so yeah. I think its like 252 hp / 244 def / 12 speed @ impish@leftovers

Either that or use Zong >> Meta.

This team set up reminds me of the whole dragon/steel certralization team I read up on once x3

Why not make mismagius a Latias? Or does this forum frown upon latias? latias is a way better CMer, and a majority...entirity of your team can take on its counters. ;D

    Good team.
I'd personally use Lefties over Ooca Berry on Meta but its not important.

Latias is a good CMer but Sub/CM cannot beat Blissey because Blissey's Seismic Toss breaks its Sub while Missy is not affected =p
Overall however Latias is a better CMer but there's nothing wrong with using Mismagius =D

Yes indeed; setting up on Blissey was the main boon for centering a team around Mismagius in the first place.

well.. a lot of your pokes are weak to fire, but you do have the heatran...

but a gyarados will tear you apart limb from limb lol

id suggest a bulky water pokemon
