    Introduction:
    _________________________________________________________________________

After many moons of trainers block, I finally decided to create a new OU team. The other was feeling pretty drap to be honest. After searching through the standards, I finally came up with 6 pokemon who, so far, have done the job fairly well. The team has served me well so far, with many a win on Shoddy battle entailing my use of it in Wifi eventually. I just need some critique from my fellow S&M Raters.

    The Team:
    _________________________________________________________________________

    "image removed"
    Porygon2@Lum Berry
    Bold
252 HP, 68 Def, 80 Sp. Atk, 106 Sp. Def
    Trace

    Discharge
    Toxic
    Ice Beam
    Recover

I love this guy. Lum Berry means that leads like Crobat and Scarfgar cannot Hypnosis me off the bat. Toxic deals with Bulky water leads such as Swampert. Discharge over Thunderbolt for that added paralysis chance, with Ice Beam to cover Salamence leads, as well as Garchomp and Gliscor. This has seriously been a major asset to the team. Switching into Gyarados and Tracing Intimidate is fun, as is switching into a Thunderpunch directed at Gyarados and Tracing Motor Drive from Electivire.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Heatran@Life Orb
    Timid
    68 HP, 204 Sp. Atk, 236 Spd

    Stealth Rock
    Fire Blast
    Taunt
    Roar/Explosion

Heatran has great resistences, and as such is very effective in its role.

    "image removed"
    Garchomp@Yache Berry
    Adamant
    252 Atk, 240 Spd, 16 HP

    Substitute
    Swords Dance
    Earthquake
    Dragon Claw

SubDanceYacheChomp. This has swept many a team. Yache Berry means I can take on Deoxys-E intending to revenge kill me, which is a very large threat, especially on Shoddy. Gliscor and Aerodactyl, (commonly used lately I have noticed) also fail to inflict significant damage due to the dreaded Yache. Considering a 252/252/6 spread.

    "image removed"
    Gyarados@Wacan Berry/Leftovers
    Adamant
    252 HP, 12 Atk, 204 Def, 40 Sp. Def

    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Ice Fang
    Waterfall/Stone Edge/Earthquake/Toxic

My 'Physical Wall'. This takes hits like a champ. It's far more bulky than its other set. Ice Fang means that Garchomp, Slamence, Dragonite and Gliscor think twice about switching in. The last slot is up in the air, Toxic has been quite effective going into stalls, but all the other moves have merrit.

    *pokemonelite2000 image removed*
    Blissey@Leftovers
    Calm
    100 HP, 252 Def, 156 Sp. Def
    Natural Cure

    Aromatherapy/Flamethrower
    Seismic Toss
    Thunder Wave
    Softboiled

Obviously my Special Wall. Aromatherapy helps Gyarados recover quicker, but also gives team support. Thunder Wave lols at Deoxys-E, not to mention any other Special Sweepers, and gives my Deoxys-E a chance to clean up the mess later on. A Blissey without Seismic Toss is...let's not go there shall we? Flamethrower to be an option because Aromatherapy hasn't seen much use, and Earthquake Bronzong has been pointed as problematic if Heatran is gone.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Team Porygon2...

    Deoxys-E@Expert Belt/Life Orb
    Hasty
    252 Sp. Atk, 160 Atk, 96 Spd

    Psychic
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt
    Superpower

This has seriously changed the metagame with its introduction to the OU metagame. Cleans up any mess left behind is very capable of breaking any walls standing in my way. Currently tossing up between Psychic and Shadow Ball, but I've seen no need for Shadow Ball recently, so I'm sticking with the STAB move.

    _________________________________________________________________________

I may include a Threat List if I find the time.

I still hate that p2 set up

    252 HP / 68 Def / 80 Sp.A / 108 Sp.Def@Bold

Does the exact same as yours, but has evs to spare in both HP and sp.def, with your current set up, you dont guarantee a ohko on chomp.

Use Leftovers. Lum Berry is sucky especially on a tank and even more when you have a status absorber in gyara.

If your that scared of status, use Magic Coat on it >_>...

    Just a note on Heatran

This Taunts very effectively, and can counter many walls, importantly Blissey, and allow me an easy set-up somewhere else Heatran can also hit hard when needed.

I really dont know why people think Taunt Heatran actually beats Seismic Toss Blissey, really with Life Orb and S-Toss, Bliss will beat you before you beat it. The only 2 moves that allow Heatran to beat Blissery is Explosion and Metal Sound pretty much , which should be >> Will-0-wisp TBH..

You could try Magma Storm/Taunt/Earth Power/Boom. Trap stuff and blow up on it, but meh.

Garchomp : You also might aswell use Outrage >> D-Claw, you have a sub AND Yache Berry, so i dont know why you would be bothered about revenge kills. More Power Is worth it here imo.

I generally agree with what D_A is saying here.

Also you're Meta weak to be honest. It's pretty easy to wall but everything takes heavy damage if it predicts correctly. It can switch in on about half your team which isn't so great either. Slightly Deoxys-S weak too, only it relies a lot on Superpower to damage your team so it will have to play very well to really damage you (though the threat is still notable).

Hera weak too. Gyarados gets demolished by Stone Edge and yeah...also watcgh out for Earthquake Bronzong, something that Heatran has trouble switching in on, and it really walls the rest of your team.

You can generally revenge most of that with Deoxys-S, just watch out for Metagross and Bronzong a bit.

You might as well run Jolly Garchomp too for other Garchomp and whatnot. IMO just run Fire Fang >>> Sub to get some hits in on Bronzong, who again really gives this team some problems.

Eh, I'm really nitpicky today :P

Anything other than the CB varients aren't really an issue on Meta, so prediction is the key there. I've not had trouble, mainly because switching between Gyarados and Garchomp, it's been rather easy to deal with. Bronzong can do nothing really, it may be hard to take down apart from Heatran though, that is the reason I'm not willing to put explosion on the set. tbh, I would rather keep sub over Fire Fang. Seriously, I have had much more success with sub than Fire Fang, after trialing it on Shoddy. D-E is an issue, but is is for all teams. Blissey can switch in and Thunder Wave, then softboiled stall it. (Superpower is only a 2HKO) In regards to Heracross...meh. I've delt with every set under the sun on some occasion or another over the past few days, but I'll see what I can do.

Blissey can't switch in on Deoxys-S though =/ The Deoxys user can predict too. Same goes for Hera and Meta users. Deoxys-S isn't an issue for all teams at all. I wouldn't just brush that off considering its usage is blowing up as we speak.

Also Bronzong can set up Stealth Rock and blindly sleep any one of your pokemon and blow up on it to kill it if it so chooses. It's not like Blissey who just sits there. Bronzong is the most common lead out there and it walls your team. That's not good >_>

Not much counters Deoxys-S that can also do well against Bronzong. Fire Punch Dursknoir is all I can think of, and Dusknoir is a pretty average pokemon. It would help with your heraweak though and is worth consideration.

It also does well against fighters since most fighters carry a Stone Edge (which Gyarados hates). Like Anti said, Dusknoir is a solid option:

    Dusknoir @ Leftovers
    Careful
    252 HP, 76 Def, 180 SpD
    Thunderpunch/Fire Punch
    Shadow Sneak/Ice Punch
    Pain Split
    WoW

I'd reccomend using the Fire Punch + SS combo to hit Hera and Lucario as well as killing off weakened Pokes and helping rid them due to LO, etc...

I was checking it out earlier, but I would need to run quite a few EV's in Attack to be able to even 2HKO the standard Bronzong with a neutral nature. I'll test it out though.

EDIT: What about Shadow Sneak Gallade?

EDIT2: Nope, it just creates a major hole for Metagross. Gyara can't intimidate it either...

CBHera that's burned it easy to counter. If it uses Facade, switch out into a steel or Ghost. Same with CC and Megahorn (though the latter is harder) But yeah, Hera + burn + CB = gg to anything that isn't immune or resists that attack.

Are you serious? Its attack is enough that Stone Edge rips through Gliscor and Weezing (and also Bulky Salamence and Dusknoir). Yeah you can predict around it, but it still has no 100% safe switch-in, or even 70% really.

BTW I'm the only person who uses Facade :P After a para on Heracross though it did ~90% to a bulky version of CBmence after the Intimidate. As in, it's going to CREAM the switch-in if the Heracross user predicts right.

Just scout for Pursuit users switching in on Dusknoir. Switch it in on something like Medicham or Heracross who it does well against, and just switch back out right away. Heck, you can scout with any of your other pokemon too for Pursuit Tyranitar and Metagross and stuff like that.

The point, my friend, is to bring in bulky things that resist or take no damage from it's attacks.

And yes, Facade = Ownage on Hera.
