Chapter 7 Aww Great...
"Aww great... Alex you just had to say that!" John scolded. His arms were crossed as he and Alex went back down the stairs to the lobby. Alex was rubbing his cheek from when Sara had slapped him.
"What!? All I said was 'don't be stupid'!" Alex replied.
"Well you think she's going to thank you for that?! You really are clueless!" John continued to argue with Alex untill he noticed that Jordan and Bianca were gone.
"Hey where do you think Jordan and Bianca w... Oh for crying out loud..." John said as he saw Alex flirting with another girl.
"How would you like to go on a da...Augh!" John yanked Alex away from the girl. The young girl sighed in relief.
"Ow! Let go of my ear!" Alex yelled in pain.
"Well, your lucky it was just your ear! That girls Arcanine could have made a barbaque out of you!" Alex then took note of the girls angry Arcanine glaring at him. He wimpered and stood up shakily.
"Uh, okay. Let's see where Jordan and Bianca went." They both walked out the door just to see Alex trip, fall over the railing and into the canal. John rolled his eyes.
"Oh, for heavens sake! Alex! How on earth do you always do something like this!?" John extended his hand over the rail for Alex to grab hold of. He was soaking wet when he finally got back on the path.
"Practice and hard work my friend!" Alex said in a very sarcastic tone. John and Alex continued down the side walk untill they walked through an archway and to an dead end.
"So what now?" asked John. Alex felt his way along the wall untill his hand went through part of it.
"Hey John? Look!" Alex took his arm in and out of the wall. John and Alex went into the wall to see what lay behind it.
::In the garden::
"Ha! I knew it!" said Jordan happily. Latias was blushing madly.
"Y..You..knew? How?" she asked.
"I noticed the way you acted when Ash was around you. You blushed everytime he spoked to you or held your hand" Latias blushed even redder than her feathers. Bianca came back into the garden with her grandpa, Lorenzo, behind her. Jordan flew down from the branch and changed into his human form.
"Jordan I'd like you to meet my grandpa, Lorenzo, grandpa this Jordan...My, well... boyfriend." said Bianca nervously.
"Nice to meet you Jordan!" Lorenzo said cheerfully shaking Jordan's hand.
"Nice to meet you too Lorenzo!" Jordan replied returning the greeting.
"Um... Grandpa? You don't have a problem with Jordan being a Pokemon and my boyfriend do you?"
"Not at all! He seems like a responsible young man!" just then Latias heard the chimes ringing indicating an intruder had entered the garden. She turned to see to boys enter the garden and got into attack position. Jordan stopped her before she charged though.
"Alex? John? What are you two doing here?" asked Jordan curiously.
"I noticed that you and Bianca had left the Pokemon Center and we wanted to make sure you were okay." replied John.
"Thanks but, as you can see we're okay!" said Jordan cheerfully. "How's Sara doing?"
"Not great, she threw us out of the room because of Alex here" John rolled his eyes in Alex's direction.
"Well she was!" shouted Alex.
"Oh and by the way, who's this Jordan?" asked John motioning towards Lorenzo.
"Oh, this is Bianca's grandfather Lorenzo" explained Jordan.
"Nice to meet you both! If you will excuse me. I have much to do at the shop. Goodbye!" Lorenzo went towards a wooden shred on the far edge of the garden.
"So Jordan, can you tell us how you and Bianca met?" asked Alex. Both Jordan and Bianca both blushed red at this comment and Latias giggled. She flew to her tree as Jordan and Bianca explained how they met. Latias went to the end ofthe branch and pulled out a picture she had hidden in the knot of the tree. The picture was of none other than Ash Ketchum. She hugged the picture and sighed as the wind blew through the trees and the chimes creating a soothing melody...
::At Team Rocket Headquarters::
Giovanni stood out in the darkness of a storm filled night while his assistant held a black umbrela over his head so that the head of Team Rocket would not get his new orange suit wet. He had been waiting for an hour now not even flinching when the thunder cracked or when the lightning flashed. He was waiting to hear the progress at the base in Mystic City.
Just then a dark van with a large letter 'R' printed on both sides pulled up. Giovanni cracked a fiendish smile as he walked toward the van with his assistant at his side. As he reached the front of the van the door opened and a man in a pale gray cloak stepped out and shook Giovanni's hand. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a disk and handed it to him.
"How is our plan proceeding?" asked Giovanni.
"Very well, very well indeed," replied the cloaked man.
Giovanni smiled, "Excellent! Follow me, I have a special 'package' for you to bring back with you.." Giovanni walked back toward the HQ followed by his assistant, Ace, and the cloaked man, Jonnah, into the test labs. Once inside they approached a cage with a thrashing Latias in it.
"Have you injected her with the Shadow Liquid?" asked Jonnah.
"Yes, we have injected her with Shadow Liquid," replied Giovanni.
"Perfect. We shall have what we need in two weeks. Jordan is important. He is one of the few humans to see Arceus, the God of all things, with him in our hands, we can capture Arceus and rule the entire Universe!" Jonnah picked up the cage and followed Ace out as Giovanni lingered in the labs grinning.
"With Crystal under our control we can force Jordan to surrender to us and he wil lead us to Arceus!" Giovanni laughed as he made his way back to his office.
