    Scrappunk is a small yet potent team of creative and productive minds united for the purpose of revolutionizing the romhacking industry. We are currently working on a game we are calling Pokemon FrostBite. Since most of it's quality lies in revolutionary ideas, I can't talk about it much, but right now, our team NEEDS two people more: a midi composer/music hacker, and a spriter.

    Some may remember me as the boistrous leader of project Rock Solid, and may also note that Rock Solid stopped... died... That was largely due to the fact that I had to move, and was at a house without internet. Now, however, I'm fully capable of leading a team to the finish.

    Now I want more driven teammembers than I had in the past, so I'd highly appreciate if anybody wanting in on this revolutionary romhack would show proof of work (I'll show you the work I want done as your demonstration) and would be willing to contact me via IM (I currently use AIM, YIM, and GTalk). PM me for my screen name. Any member of Scrappunk must be able to work at least three days of the week, or be able to do a hell of a lot in one day. Currently, all the members work daily.

    As proof of skill for a fakemon enginner, I would like a the following skeleton filled:

    As proof of skill for the composer/hacker, I would like an IPS patch for FireRed that has replaced the music on route 1 with a new piece (original or otherwise)

    I am NOT limiting my recruiting solely to what I've mentioned, but I don't need grunts. Everybody is gonna be a lead something. This is meant to be a small and elite team.     Your maps don't look markedly original, but since you claim to have time, I'll definitely get you started, though you aren't officially on the team yet. If you prove to be as cutting edge material, I may make you the head mapper. I'll PM you your first instructions. I also highly recommend you get a google mail account and get google talk, as that's the medium the team uses to talk during the day. We use it because of the file exchange feature and the fact that it's so simple, it can run on windows 98.
     
    well i map but i see you have enough. But i just wanted to tell you that the blue houses in pallet town are glitchy, it is not possible to have it as a two story, the cave is okay. Also the city where you have the the grass and the cave, that area should be separate from the rest and it should be a route. The maps are okay, there not bad. And if your looking for another mapper then i can do the job.

    Well, Wayenes, step forward and prove it. Show me a map. What I really need now is a tilemap editor that is a combined spriter, but an extra mapper would be okay if you are really good.

    Waynes, did you really create map #3? I seen that map before. Well, you may be a better town mapper but you can't beat me at routes and caves. :D Here's another map I made yesterday real quick. No tile errors (Ignore the 'bridge'. I made it to test something), permissions are where they belong and my scripts, signposts and wild pokemon are working 100%. My music is correct also.

    Anyways, good luck on joining the team and I hope you make it in. It will make for some fun competition. :)

    Your map is good im not saying its bad but if you dont want complaints leave more walkroom area
    other than that great job.

    The map yes i made from scratch to try and join megiddos hack but i decided not to.
     
    Hmmm... Waynes, Make an icy valley map and show it to me, I want to see how creative you can be with a tileset as limited as the ice set. If you do well enough, than yes, you are in.

    50x50, if you don't mind. Make it memorable and unique. Block edit all you want for the effect.
     
    You can't be serious... You think a believable valley is easier than a dojo?
    Maybe I'm just weird here, but something manmade like a dojo is just in my mind easier than a natural thing like a valley.
