I've been thinking about a stall team for weeks, maybe months now. And now, all this thinking has actually come to something. I present to you, fellow PC residents, my stall team which has scored me quite a few wins in the few moments I've had it; a rather impressive landmark in today's metagame. Stall has always been > offensive with me for awhile, but I never really put thought into one before. My first stall team it is, so go easy on me guys. Don't rip my team to shreds, please >.>.

    Swampert @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature / Torrent
    252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Att
Stealth Rock: A common move on every team, I need my rocks up.
Toxic: For stalling here, and helps dent some sweeprs. But not Guts. ):
Earthquake: This move is basicly on every set, it's standard. STAB aswell.
Waterfall: I was scarce on water moves on this team, and needed them, also STAB

Comments: I love Swampert as a lead, with high HP and Defence, he is a beast. I'm not sure if I should put Avalanche over Roar though, so I need suggestions on that matter. Overall, I get my rocks up, I attack.

    Hariyama @ Leftovers
    Impish Nature / Thick Fat
    76 HP / 180 Att / 252 Def
Force Palm: I like this over Close Combat because of the Para-chance and this doesn't lower my Def and SpD.
Whirlwind: Block out many things, especially annoying Ninjask >.<. Standard.
Knock Off: This move also makes Hariyama a defensive beast, knocking off Pokemon's items and making them cry 'cause he made them drop their ice cream.
Ice Punch: Ice Punch for Dragons, Gliscor, and slighlty Celebi. Considering Thunder Punch.

Comments: Hariyama is far different from his Fighting cousins, and I like that. With amazing attack and HP and support moves he is a definite choice. Considering Thunder Punch to help with Gyara weakness, but I think Vapy covers that.

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Careful Nature / Thick Fat
    252 HP / 252 SpD / 6 Att
Rest: The main part of this set, makes Lax much more durable.
Sleep Talk: Works with Rest on this one, lets me attack while healling up. Only really bad luck can mess up Lax.
Body Slam: Para chance here, and STAB. A neccesity on Rest Talk sets.
Crunch: I need this badly, to stop Ghosts. Crunch kill of Gengar, Rotom, Alakazam, and friends. have to watch for Focus Blast and HP [Fighting] though.

Comments: I have always loved Snorlax, and not liked Blissey. He can actually hit, and gets rid of a Ghost weakness. Considered CurseLax for a while, but changed. Rest to heal up and Sleep Talk to hit. Body Slam for Para and Crunch for Ghosts.

    Rotom-H @ Choice Scarf
    Modest Nature / Levitate
    176 HP / 210 Spe / 124 SpA
Overheat: Always on this guy, takes care of Skarmory and friends. Lucario and Scizor check.
Discharge: Para support here. Also with decent damage, 30% Para rate, I'm there.
Shadow Ball: STAB mainly. And, paried with Choice Scarf, I out run most Gengar and Kill them muhuhuhahaha.
Will-O-Wisp: Works with stall here, I can hit sweepers on-the-go.

Comments: My main Lucario and Scizor check here, Choice Scarf to outspeed them. Moves really say it all.

    Tentacruel @ Leftovers
    Calm Nature / Liquid Ooze
    204 HP / 96 SpA / 172 SpD / 36 Spe
Surf: Tentacruel's main STAB here, and he can hit pretty hard.
Sludge Bomb: Second STAB here, my only posion attack on the team.
Toxic Spikes: Lays down the Toxic Spikes, helps alot with stalling.
    Rapid Spin: Spin away spikes.

Comments: Absorb Toxic Spikes, Spin away Spikes, Absorb Leech Seed, and spin away Stealth Rock. Tentacruel does it all. A happy edition (:

    Vaporeon @ Choice Specs
    Modest Nature / Water Absorb
    252 Def / 252 SpA / 6 Spe
Hydro Pump: STAB here, need an offensive move, and HP works.
Wish: To heal some of my teammates that can't heal themselves. I also heal me. (:
HP [Electric]: Gyarados check here, this is mandatory or else Gyara laughs at me. ):
Ice Beam: Covering Grass types like Celebi, this is standard.

Comments: I love Vapy, a Gyara check and healing check. Not many Pokemon can top Vaporeon, I love her to death.

It's really solidly structured, there's no doubt about that, but I am slightly concerned about how well this will be "stalling" with only SR, and one instance of Toxic/WoW. If you fail to get them spread around, it's going to be more of a case of Defensive play than Stall, per say.

Oh and watch out for DDMence. After a DD, Adamant DDMence has a very slim chance of OHKOing Gliscor factoring in SR. EIther way, Jolly and no Life Orb is still a 2HKO.

And you really need to do something about Toxic Spikes. One layer down and you are royally stuffed.

Ah, Snorlax. Unless those Def have a purpose I'm missing, run 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SDef.
And on Restalk Lax, Body Slam is a necessity. When you stick around as long as he does, the Paralysis chance is bound to get in a Parahax or two. I run Return on a CB set (It OHKOd Garchomps that used to switch in :D), but definitely not on ResTalk.

I changed the spread on Lax to 252 HP / 252 SpD / 6 Att.
Swampert now has Toxic > Roar on his set. Helps Stall.
Replacing Gliscor with Tentacruel. Absorb Toxic Spikes and Spin Spikes away.
    Keep it going (:<

Lots of conflicting status, from Toxic and Toxispikes to WoW and Force Palm...something's gotta go.

I don't know, I just have a real problem with a stall team that requires a Choice Scarfer (especially one weak to Pursuit) to stay intact. When Rotom dies, this team pretty much goes with it...and let's be fair here, it's not overly difficult to get rid of and set up on for that matter. It's not really "stall" when you have two choice item users, both of which incredibly easy to set up on (which is really not going to help your walls). Speaking of your walls, barring Snorlax, none of them have recovery. That strikes me as incredibly foolish given how fast-paced today's metagame is. I know you have Wish support and all, but that really isn't enough at all.

Also, you don't have a true blue physical wall or anything that can really take physical hits well. Swampert, Vaporeon, and Hariyama certainly don't count. The lack of a steel hurts here, since outside of the possibility for Rotom revenge, CBmence literally 6-0s this team with one move alone. Electivire is also a threat with HP Grass (which seems to be picking up a lot of steam)...

    ----------------

Basically what I'm saying is that the wall structure of this team, which is supposed to stall, is very flimsy and easy to break through, and is held together only by Rotom (which will eventually be worn out by switching into weaker attacks and SR, as well as SS possibly).

I would seriously restructure this team. I would put in a steel like Skarmory (which makes a wonder Spiker and PHazer, and is a great Skymin check). I would replace stuff that really isn't necessary like Swampert, and give as many things healing as you can.

Did you just make a team with absolutely NO Dragon resist? Not only that, but you have nothing that even lives a +1 LO Outrage from Salamence (no, Snorlax takes 116.79%-137.60%). A stall team without a Dragon resist or even a Hippowdon isn't going to last very long, especially since Salamence is only weak to Stealth Rock. Outrage OHKO's everything on your team after a Dragon Dance with no problem...at all. For this reason alone I'd suggest Hippowdon > Swampert, who isn't OHKO'd and can actually live 2 non-LO +1 Outrages from Salamence (rare though). It can also provide a great initial TTar counter, as well as a great Electivire counter.

    In closing, USE HIPPOWDON.
