Well Im sure a lot of professionals do differently but, works for me.

for your ideas do you just take a image that you have seen and add to it ..or is it all from imagination?

You usually look at a reference (an official) and look at some concept art. Then you try to make a sprite with the same relative size and shading as the official with the idea of the concept art. Otherwise, once you get good, and get familiar with anatomy of whatever you might sprite, you scratch.

It is a thread where you can post sprites to share, to exhibit, or to critique. However, DJG said it shouldn't matter if we keep the sprite talk in here for the time being.

it's probably a given but that's just for torzach sprites, right?
