    I've got my first 8 badges and i've got some pokemon i'm happy with. Only the 6th pokemon i'm not very sure about.
    The first 5 are:
    Ho-Oh lvl 42
    Feraligatr lvl 50
    Golem lvl 40
    Ampharos lvl 47
    Weepinbell lvl 40

    Can you give your opinion?

    The 6th pokemon i have is a Pidgeot lvl 36
    I stopped training it since i got Ho-Oh
    I want to get another pokemon instead of Pidgeot
    Got some tips for me?

    Since this is the Metal section, I'm assuming you're talking about gold and not Heart Gold. If that is the case, I would get an Abra. He can learn Psychic, and all three elemental Punches. He is my favorite Pokemon to solo run with (except for Karen, she's really hard). It really depends on what attacks you know.
     
    You should hope that your Feraligatr knows Ice Punch or Blizzard, because if it dies the dragonites are going to sweep. Also make sure you still have either Feraligatr, Ampharos, or Golem for left for Aerodactl; because he could easily kill your Ho - Oh and Weepinbell.

    Anyway, like the above poster emntioned before, you need to teach feraligatr and Ice Move either Ice punch or Ice fang. These are going to be vital if you are trying to beat lance since onces your feraligatr fainted, his dragonites have an easy way to beat you. Easy Sweep. Keep your golem escpecially for the Aerodactyl. It will destroy your Ho-oh into bits. No joke.

    Over all that is a pretty good team, could do with some improvments. But just leave it as is for now.
     
    In my opinion this was my perfect team in Pokemon Gold days:

    Typhlosion

    Meganium

    Feraligatr

    Sudowoodo/Tyrannitar

    Ampharos

    Togetic

    I definetly think you should go with a flying or normal type. Perhaps a Miltank. Those are really good, but slightly impractical. Lickitung wouldn't work well for Uber teams. Just go with a Clefable. That should work.
