    Hey Guys and Gals

    I have been chatting with friends about these new pokemon games and new generation of pokemon and I have been hearing that the newest DS the nintendo is creating will be the only console the games will work on and I was wondering if this is true or could they work with the DS Lite/DS I or both I need to know to figure out how I am going to work on getting the nexst generation of pokemon games and play em and get into the next generation of pokemon easily as possible without having to let nintendo screw me over again like the old days.
     
    They've been confirmed for the DS with DSi enhanced doohickies. IMO, it's more like a Gen 4.75 (HGSS being gen 4.5) than a Gen 5 - with the obvious exceptions of the new pogeymans, of course.

    so I don't need to worry about needing to get a new DS I can keep using my DS Lite and I am good?
     
    Hopefully the DSi feature isn't part of the story. It will most likely be like the pokethlon where you had a choice to go there or not.

    kk, I don't give a flighting about that feature I much rather be able to play the game then have a web cam on my hand held game console. and for the trolls who want to flame me cause I am *****ing about spending money for a game what I am saying is I want Nintendo to come do with an announcement that they want us to use the DS I since it has the same online feature as the Wii to download games with hte points u buy in store which I can see that this could save nintendo millions of dollars on not needing to put games on a media and shipping to stores to sell they just sell cards to buy games online which then it's just a piece of software on the interent that can be access by millions of people and they still make money but don't spend as much on the media the games are put on.

    I don't want to get down into the game side of it since in the game mostly everythign should be the same just that a web cam chat in trade won't work.

    Lol, yeah. I still have the original clunker of a DS, and if that can't play BW because of some lame DSi add-on, heads are gonna roll.

    Funny but u need to look at it from a business point of view I think nintendo is seriously looking at how Mac is doing things now via Credit cards and game cards to purchase stuff online and no need for media ehich saves on business cost so the can make more money in the long run.
