((Ooc)) NUUUUUUU!! Mustn't... let.... RP.... die!!! *types first thing that comes to mind*

Her breathing was the only sound that could be heard in the empty room. There was no one here but her, no Alpha, Cassie, Jasper, Chaos... There was only Saphira, in the middle of this dark, evil room. She had to leave before she did something stupid. But, Saphira found she couldn't move. She was help captive in this one spot by everyones' pain, everyones' misery. Without a sound, frost caked the walls, ceiling, and floor.

((Ooc)) You.... *thinks* Are at the entrance of Chaos's lair, and Saphirab disappeared down below because she heard something going on. So, either you catch up to her to find no one in the room but her, or you stand out in the open, doing absolutely nothing.

"Stay here in safety, or go back and fight, then?" I asked kindly. Serina licked her lips and I whispered, "You're hungry, my wife. Feel free." She nodded a little, then bent in and kissed my neck lightly before sinking her fangs in, drawing some of my blood. She removed them quickly, not taking too much. Already though, she looked refreshed.

OOC: I am still really...really lost...where are the other titans supposed ta be?

I stood int he opening of the lair. I had no idea what I had been doing, but there didn't seem to be anoyne around. The last thing I had remembered was Saphira running down into the lair. I knew I must follow her, for she didn't seem well, and I couldn;t let her be alone. I turned and bolted down into the tunnel. I saw no one until I stepped into the main room. I saw saphira there, all alone, she seemed to be deep in thought. I spoke softly "Saphira?"

Saphira remained facing away from Jasper. "Heh... You know, it's amazing how just one place can affect a person. Bring back horrible memories, make them wish they were dead... Just one place can change a person completely." She kept her gaze pinned to the ground. Why is he still here? Saphira couldn't understand why Jasper wouldn't leave. Why did he care so much about her when it didn't matter if she were dead or alive to everyone else? Why was he staying?

"Yes it is amazing..." I told her, "But you must try not to let these places get to you, you must not live in the past, you must not let your memories get the best of you." There was expirience in my voice, I knew all about what Saphira was feeling, but my past was my own, and I couldn't let her know. My eyes then became glazed, and my mind wandered, memories, flashes of time I hadn't thought of in years, things I had tottaly forgotten, and never wanted to remember.Theyall rushed back into my mind, the dam that kept them stored away seemed to have broken. I then snapped back to reality. "I UDERSTAND SAPHIRA!" I hollared at her, a tear falling from my eye. I had no idea where the burst have anger had originated form, or why I had yelled at her. "I am sorry..." I spoke softly, and got back up to my feet. I began to walk towards her, "I love you Saphira, and I'm not going to leave you..."

Saphira's jaw tightened as Jasper's voice echoed through the cavern. Her hands clenched, but she wasn't angry. She deserved to be yelled at for everything she had done in the last two years. All the lives she had taken, families she destroyed, everything she ruined.

"I love you Saphira, and I'm not going to leave you..."

Saphira turned to face Jasper, no emotion in her eyes or face. But she felt anything other than that. The feeling of knowing that at last, someone did care about her left her numb. "Th..... Thank you....." She said, collasping onto the floor, holding herself. Tears somehow escaped her, tears of anger, fear, and pain. But, those disappeared, replaced by tears of love and joy.

((Ooc)) Are we gettin' mushy here or what? Sorry, I just had to ruin the moment.

OOC: Haha... Well there'll be a brief mushy moment, or so I had hoped... lol

IC: I walked over ot her as she collapsed. She began to cry, I understodd her tears. She needed to cry, and I needed her to cry, I needed to cry. And I needed to share it all with Saphira. When I has first met her I fell in love with her, and then she was lost to me. I found her not long ago, but since we had been reunited, she had attempted to kill me, ran away from me, and I had turned against her. I needed to be with her, I needed to stop all of the negativity, we both needed to forget it, at least for only a moment. Tears began falling from my cheeks. "You're welcome Saphi..." I said slowly. From then on all I could say was "Never leave me again... I love you... I need you... I love you..."

OOC: GAH!!! ZE MUSHINESS!!! IT BUUURRNSS!!!!! >_> *puts on ultraviolet glasses*

IC: "Well, when you put it that way..." said Cassie thoughtfully, trailing off. She had always chosen the same option whenever faced with that choice, and she would certainly choose it now. Stay in hiding and be safe and smart versus rush into the fight, against some unknown enemy, without any preparation whatsoever. That was a no-brainer.

"I want to go back, of course," said Cassie, smiling at her own naivity.

I stood, slowly, trying to be careful as I rediscovered my body. with growing confidence, I walked to the window and looked out over the wintery landscape and the Iskruel Ocean lapping against the shores of this tiny hamlet. It was a harsh landscape, cruel, cold and unforgiving. Worth saving.

I turned about with a sudden, bright smile and said, "The we'll leave when you're ready. I have nothing to prepare, but if you want a meal, I'll fix one." Serine sidled up to me, whisperieng, "I want to come with you." I shook my head, keeping my own words as inaudible to Cassie as Serina's had been. "No, beloved. I don't want to risk your loss." she replied stubbornly, "I want to come with you. I don't want to see you appear crippled in our marriage bed again. I WILL come with you." I shhok my head again and whispered in reply, "Fine. Just be careful." She flashed me one of her rare grins, reserved only for me and saying clearly, "Aren't I always?"

"No, I'm fine," said Cassie brightly, oblivious to the whispered conversation that had been going on right in front of her. She gazed out the window for a moment at the unfamiliar land she was now in. Where was her home? She had no idea. The Titans had taken her in, so, naturally, she felt bound to them somehow. But she had never truly belonged there. So then, where did she belong? Uncertain about the answer, she watched snow whirl about in the wind outside, wishing she could go with it.

"Then we'll go as soon as you're ready," I replied. I was rapidly feeling better, now that I was in my own body. It seemed that Eclipse's attack had done something to me. Already, I was refreshed after Serina's feeding. More than off, normally it took my hours. I frowned and shook it off.

OOC: Well... This seems to be going quite slowly, and Saphira still hasn't posted...

My fault, and I hope she comes on soon.... *wonders where she is*

IC: "I'm always ready!" cried Cassie, punching the air spiritedly. "Let's go! Let's go!" It was so easy to mask things behind bursts of seeming excitement. Energetically, she rushed around the room like a hyper rabbit, eventually crashing into a chair. "Oww," she murmured, quickly getting up.
