    Tee Beginners, Back!
Hi, again, the last team wasn't a great team, so here is a better comeback (or I suppose it is better…)! This is team is for Wi-Fi and maybe sometimes for Shoddy. Yes, it is a Standard Tier, but it could be considered OU since everyone is OU except Arcanine which is BL. This team, as I see it, supports each other well… Well, here it is:
    Platinum Wi-Fi Standard Team

    Team In Depth

    [PokeCommunity.com] Teh Begginers, Back!

    ----------------------------------------
    Azelf @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd
    Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Explosion
    - Psychic
    - Fire Blast

Sashed Azelf is very common indeed, but I intend on using it. Timid Nature makes sure he outspeeds very fast sweepers, like Non-Choice Scarf Gengar, and other threats. Sash insures that SR will set up at least, crippling pokes like Yanmega and Ninjask. Psychic covers well, but it is only there for STAB, while Fire Blast dents Bronzong, and faints Yanmega, and so on. This is just your average lead Azelf, taken a liking to the guy.

    ----------------------------------------
    Arcanine (M) @ Choice Band
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Atk/ 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Thunder Fang
    - Iron Head
    - Flare Blitz
    - Extreme Speed

Arcanine can be a great killer with this moveset. Even though he isn't holding Life Orb, which would almost double recoil with Flare Blitz. Thunder Fang covers Waters, just as a last resort, usually does around 75% to a Starmie without neutral nature and no EVs in Def. Flare Blitz does a huge dent into anything, even if it resists it! Though it has recoil, Lefties can heal him up a bit. Extreme Speed wipes out those low HP folks, which can be very useful on switch-ins. Iron Head cripples Rocks, and why not Overheat you ask? Well, I calculated the damage and Iron Head does more to Rocks than Overheat does. Although, it would be nice to have special move in here, but no.

    ----------------------------------------
    Suicune @ Leftovers
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Surf
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    - Hidden Power [Electric]

RestTalk Suicune, normally Surf since it adds with STAB, and Ice Beam is for Salamence, Dragonite, and other Dragon folks around. Rest recovers damage, then Sleep Talk for about two turns, than attack again. This set doesn't get crippled by phazers, also. He is equally balanced on defense categories, and Leftovers also helps annoy opponents as usual.

Under Construction... May Switch in Forretress

    ----------------------------------------
    Donphan (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP/ 4 Atk/ 252 Def
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Rapid Spin
    - Ice Shard
    - Roar
    - Earthquake

Rapid Spin away Spikes and what not, bring in Donphan! Use Ice Shard for flying birdies and dragons since Earthquake doesn't disposes them. Roar away pokes once I have SR set up, and also Roar away the likes of Stat Boosters. Earthquake is with the average STAB, as usual, and Lefties again is there to annoy the ever sequence of healing.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Teh Begginers, Back!

    ----------------------------------------
    Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 80 Atk/ 252 SAtk/ 176 Spd
    Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
    - Brick Break
    - Roost
    - Fire Blast
    - Draco Meteor

MixMence, Brick Break deals with Blissey, Tyranitar, and so on, while Roost heals recoil damage from Life Orb and SR. Fire Blast dents Bronzong, Metagross, and others. Draco Meteor packs a punch into anything, just the stat lower is the down effect… Life Orb helps Salamence hit ever harder, and Intimidate cushions some physical blows on switch-ins.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Teh Begginers, Back!

    ----------------------------------------
    Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 Def/ 80 SAtk/ 176 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Seismic Toss
    - Wish
    - Softboiled
    - Ice Beam

Useful Wish Support, average BoltBeam hits almost anything in today's metagame: Salamence, Garchomp (when he wasn't Uber), Dragonite, Gyarados, and others… Here I can Wish, then switch into a poke that needs some Wish Support. I heal myself with Softboiled since Wish's max PP I think is 16. She is also my Special Wall, which is kinda obvious! lol

Dragonite does this set better because it has access to superpower.

A good mixmence set would be

    Salamence @ Life orb
    Ability:Intimidate
    Nature:Naive
    Evs:80atk/252spatk/176spe
    Draco meteor
    Outrage/Roost
    EQ
    Flamethrower/Fire blast

Can still 2hko blissey, and Empoleon but can now OHKO Heatran and Metagross. Tyranitar can still be 2hko'd by Draco meteor + EQ.

NOTHING stops Gyarados rampaging through this team.

Bump your speed to beat Lucario, also Rash nature would be preferable or Meteor loses ALOT of power, just something to keep in mind.

    Blissey (F) @ Leftovers

    - Seismic Toss
    - Wish
    - Softboiled
    - Ice Beam

    T-Bolt is lol

Ive said this before and ill say it again, Blissey 100% needs Seismic Toss in nearly every case or it loses to stuff you should be beating, namely Sub Petaya Empoleon, Sub Mind Raikou, Taunt / Metal Sound Heatran just to name a few.

With a Rash nature your not going to do any thing to Lucario, as they run Jolly nature with Ice Punch. And also Outrage does more damage to Bliss than brick break and doesn't give away the fact that your a mixmence.

:/ Hard choice... Well, with Rash, Meteor will do a lot better, and I changed the EVs so it can outspeed Luke. Meh, but Outrage, it doesn't let me switch moves, allowing the opponent to switch into Gross and such. I am thinking... >.<

I honestly dont get Outrage on Mixmence because really just locking yourself in is kinda stupid just to hit blissey and other special walls when you can just brick it for a 2hko anyways and not lose your mence to the 1000 steel type pokes that come in and lol =/. In addition of lack of speed makes it so much more easier to revenge kill for even non -steels. Sure on DD mence and CB mence its fine, but on mix mence its kinda ass since it has more downsides in wall breaking terms, which is what Mixmence is and not a sweeper.

Also hardly anyone uses Jolly Lucario let alone Ice Punch

    Smogon Usage statistics said:
    | Lucario | Nature | Adamant | 52.0 % |
    | Lucario | Nature | Jolly | 21.8 %|
    ------------------------------------------------------

    | Lucario | Move | Close Combat | 76.4 %|
    | Lucario | Move | Extremespeed | 64.4 %|
    | Lucario | Move | Swords Dance | 63.9 % |
    | Lucario | Move | Crunch | 36.4 %|
    | Lucario | Move | Ice Punch | 27.4 %|

Also jolly luke is that pitiful in terms of power that it cant get past Donphan so he should be fine =p.

Those statistics were posted before Lucarios movesets were changed to platnium movesets in the strategy pokedex section, which means alot more people are using Ice Punch/Jolly now.
And also even with brick break you still losing to Heatran, which is one of the most common steel types.

Yeah, agreed, that is what I thought when I did the calculations! Also, should I place Forretress in, and take out Donphan with this moveset:
    Forretress @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP/ 96 Atk/ 160 Def
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Rapid Spin
    - Spikes
    - Gyro Ball
    - Explosion

How does that work when Heatran is 2HKO'ed by BB iirc? and mixmence still outpaces Luke, so Fire Blast annihilates it. If ur worried about Heatran, you could find a place for EQ. But, as D_A said, this is to break walls and stop Luke, not kill off Heatran.
