TES IV: Oblivion or Fallout 3

After looking at the Fallout 3 thread, I thought this was a good idea. :D Remember the PC rules and post away.

I'm gonna have to say Fallout 3. I've been a fan of the whole Fallout series, and since both retrofuturism and post apocalypse are two of my favorite things, Fallout is a great mix. Make no mistake though, Oblivion is great.

I'm gonna have to say Oblivion. I've gave Fallout 3 numerous chances but it just doesn't hook me. Maybe it's the post apocalyptic aspect but I really just didn't get interested. Oblivion however had my hooked since I left the sewers at the beginning. Truely an amazing game.

I have to agree with you. :) Although I haven't actually played Fallout 3, I watched my brother play it, and to be honest, it doesn't look that interesting in comparison to oblivion. :\

I'd go with Oblivion for the sole reason that there's just more to do. I found both games equally good.

I like fallout. the missions are really fun and the add-on dlc is so cool

I have both, and I have to say Oblivion is a much more satisfying game. I feel like there's a lot more to do, and I rarely get bored playing it as there's always a new location to explore or quest to do. Fallout 3 was excellent, but just didn't have as much entertainment value. I was disappointed at the lack of options besides completing the main quest...No guilds, not nearly as many locations to explore, and not as many character options either. And what the crap @ leveling capping out at 20? =/

So yeah, Oblivion wins for me.

Fallout 3, I like anything that is apocalyptic-themed and FPS games. Don't get me wrong; Oblivion is an amazing game too. Fallout 3 is just preferred.

Ive never played fallout 3, so I wouldnt really be able to compare them. But ive seen my friends play it. I would prefer oblivion though because it gets you easy gamerscore points and gets addicting to play.

I love the Fallout series, and even with my NMA-anti-Fallout 3 mindset, it was still a good game.

As for TES, I loved Morrowind more than Oblivion.

I like Oblivion more than Fallout 3 because I don't have to constantly get ammo. But I prefer the Bloodmoon expansion to Morrowind! :) Still, Oblivion's good. Better graphics than Fallout 3.
