Testing the Context Bar

I like it. Only if it had a home button to take me back to the forum root.

I don't think we would need it, seeing as a quick scroll to the top of the page and a click on the PokeCommunity logo does just that.

What about a link to the PC chatroom?
I see what you mean. But I figure if we're all the way at the bottom of the page a home button would be quite useful.

Oh, you added a top shortcut! I was going to suggest that.

Can you add a link to the Mod CP? I know there's one at the bottom of the forum, but for some of the styles that bar covers that, like Went pointed out. Along with that, it'd be nice to have it there... a little more convenient.
Because those extra scrolls are SO time consuming!!!!!!!!!!

jk. But seriously, that would be nice.

Do you have a plan to implement this on all styles? Because I'm running Dimensional Rift, and I see just a bullet list of random functions hovering above the board home or posting screen or whatever.

in some themes it breaks the (overall) width causing a bottom scrollbar.

This can be fixed with the max-width property ( css ).

That's because it uses listing markups in the code. I have no idea why, when you can just put the links there without having them in a list. But hey, that's my opinion.

I don't know whether this was reported earlier, but the last.fm bar seems to overlap the context bar.

I'm using vB default skin.

That's an issue with Chrome, it's kinda weird but there isn't really a fix for it that I know of, other than moving away from the flash ( the Last.FM player ).

On thing worth noticing is that you can't slide across the buttons and have them highlight without moving off and on again.

That is fixed with floating the left buttons to the left. Instead of floating buttons to the right and then letting the rest of the buttons fall where-ever they fall. I still don't understand why the left buttons were placed ( in the coding ) after the buttons to the right. Anyways it's fixed by float: left. Simple as that. And no it's not a webkit issue.

*goes back to lurking*

Might I make a suggestion?
Move it from the bottom to maybe the left or the right.
It's really awesome and everything, but in Firefox 4, when pages are loading, a lot of the bar is taken up. Moving it to the right or left of the page will fix this, but it could also create other problems.

I just noticed the bar, and I was like, "Wow." So then I went to the forums and what do you know, this thread is here.
