Thanksgiving

I get 3 days off classes for my break. Not great, but I get a month off for Christmas/New Year break, so I'm not complaining. Anywho...I'll be traveling to both Philadelphia and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to visit family. Of course...I live in PA so it's not any major travel or anything. Just kind of a long day in the car. Oh well...it's definately worth it in my book. Food, football, family, and friends. What a great holiday. XD

i know nothing about thanksgiving, when is it on the calender? what is it exactly for?

here in england, no-one really knows what it is, and i would like to know (mainly so i can laugh at americans some more xD)

i,m going to spain to have a family get together and have turkey with all the rest of my family

I will just be staying home for Thanksgiving. @__@

Well i think we going to my dad's for thanksgiving dinner,My dad's is a great cook. ^_^(or we staying and my grandma and grandfather will come)Don,t know yet but let's stuffed are selfs with turkey :)

Heh. I usually go to a relatives house and eat a lot of food. Then I get sick and throw up. XD

To stuff myself and invite over relatives I had no idea existed! 8D
I'm making the traditional macaroni and cheese this year~~ yum~

On another note though, 'Thanksgiving' was really not what you learned in 2nd grade, so you know. The pilgrims could be better called as 'pillagers'.

It's an excuse for us asians to have a huge party, with every chinese person in the entire "city" at the richest asian's house on Thanksgiving for a bunch of food, and at other people's houses every night on the week of Thanksgiving.

Although, relatives never come, and we never go to relatives. *points to the first part of what Digital Mage said*

Im going up to my other house to spend the week there with my family. We'll do the usual, eat turkey and all that other good stuff that goes with it. That's pretty much it...I think.

We're going to my mom's cousin's, and eat, etc. for lunch. Its should be fun, my mom's side of the family can be pretty funny when they're drunk. (I'm glad we don't have to go to my dad's family's, they're boring)

I think we're going to my aunts house after that, which is going to be boring, because her boyfriend's family is coming over. Those people annoy me... and we'll more than likely stay there for about 5 hours afterwards, since apparently its impossible to leave before anyone else.

No not really...we spent all this morning and last night cooking for it, and the only people we had come over were our uncle and aunt. also cause practically thats the only family we have. we have a T.I.N.Y. family. sad actually. but it was fun. hope everyone had a great thanksgiving like me! :cheeky:

I really dont celebrate it I usually go and hang out with my friends that feel the same way
