It's my b-day 2day, what 3DS game should I get? Yoshi's New Island?

I could recommend pretty much all the 3DS games I have. c:

FE:Awakening is lovely. Ocarina of Time 3D is great but if you've already played the original there's really no reason to buy it.
The most recent Zelda game is excellent, though. Just excellent.

You could get Pokémon X/Y, but ehhh. If you can only afford one, don't go with this. There are cheaper ways to play Pokémon.

Personally I don't see a problem with only getting one Pokemon X/Y version. I only had X for several months and the only reason why I got Y is because of the free promotion that is going on. That said you could go and check out the promotion on nintendo's site (though you'll want to hurry it ends this month) and if you get one of the games it lists you can get a free copy. So really if you still want Yoshi's New Island you can get that and Pokemon X/Y. If you hurry.

Other great games are FE: Awakening, Animal Crossing (though depends on if you would enjoy that at all I guess??), Tales of the Abyss, Rune Factory 4 (even though I don't have it I want it so bad so there). I would suggest more but Kingdom Hearts depends on if you played the previous games and not completely sure if you would be interested in the Mystery Dungeon game.

--oh Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is also good imo.

There's also Project X Zone and Etrian Odyssey, but you should really check out whether you want those before you make any decisions.

And, of course, there's Virtue's Last Reward (personally my favorite 3DS game and one of my favorite games period), Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies, and Inazuma Eleven, all of which I definitely recommend.

Apart from that, there's Kid Icarus, which I think is great for pretty much anyone. It's funny (especially if you've played the original, but it's not required), very fun, and has a good longevity. If you're a Final Fantasy fan, Bravely Default is a good one.

And finally, if you like Rhythm games, there's Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (though I'd wait for the sequel), and Rhythm Thief.

there is still the free download copy they can get if they get Yoshi's New Island or any of the other games that are listed. So if they get it before the 31st bam two games.
