Guide + complete pokedex.

A lot better than what they've been doing for the past... 3 guides, selling the guide and the dex separately at the same price.

I bought it, and despite all the information being online for free, it's nice having a quick reference rather than shooting back and forth from the game and to my laptop every couple of minutes.

[edit] Only gripe is that the pages are rather cheaply made (no glossy paper) compared to.. pretty much every other guide ever? Shameful.

"WHAT THE ****!" was what I mouthed when i saw it. I just told the Gamestop employee that i wanted to buy it.

It is now open right with me. I am looking at the Movelist and TM list for Gallade!

I love this big thing! Plus, it makes a good weapon!

I thought the same thing. My wife brought it home one day. She called me saying 'Do you want me to see if they have a guide or something?' I was like, sure, why not?.

She got home and I was like 'What the heck?!'

But the thinner paper pages make the book so much lighter. The D/P guides were heavyy. x.x
 
Judging by everyone's comments, the guide seems really helpful. I'm going to GameStop tomorrow.

I have yet to see it. Is it really that big?

It isn't terribly huge, but it is so much bigger than previous guides that it seems quite big. But, it is BIG.

Like someone mentioned earlier, the pages are thin (and presumably easy to tear), but this makes the book lighter than you think it would be.

Overall, I love the book so much. Very, very useful.
 
My friend ended up buying the guide book, and it is indeed waaaay huge! I got the figurine too, it currently sits on top of my TV.

...maybe one day I'll place it on the hood of my car. :P
 
I think that when I trade in some games, Im going to get it with the money I get from them, just to have. I just wish it was complete with Arceus.
 
Anyone have specific page amounts of this guide?

The Japanese Pt. guides are all awful despite the thickness, and I may as well import this book if it has good content.
 
The real reason so many of you are buying it is because the cover is so shiny.

Admit it!

You could blind motorists on the freeway with it.

If I remember correctly its around 620 pages of full glorious Pokemon madness.
 
I have seen the Platinum guide as well, it was big. It looks like it has a lot of helpful tips. :)

Oh and yes I think it is 620 pages, is that the biggest one yet?
