What Pokemon moves seem kinda better than they're portrayed in the games? Which ones... seem less than stellar than made out to be in the games? I'd say that Fly is better because it's not really a move in the anime, but an action. The games should literally do that!

I have to agree, most HMs are a lot better in the anime than shown in the games. Most HMs don't even make an appearance in the anime I don't think. Cut is the most recent I have seen and Greninja makes a freaking light sword with it. Or did. Not sure if it still knows cut or not. Most HMs are just replaced by actions.

I think by far the best move in the anime is Volt Tackle. It just looked amazing when Pikachu used it. Especially during the Sinnoh League. All it does in the games is come lines and maybe some lightning.

The only move I am teased off is SWIFT. In the animation ( At first ) they made the pokemon move like a Ninja to do a physical attack. In the game it appears as a flash of stars ( Ninja Stars ) with the windy sound affect. This was okay.

But in recent years they took swift and reduced it to lame 3d stars.

Another move is Quandium Slam ( or whatever that fighting move is ). In game it shows a ball indicating the pokemon has been tossed reducing it VS. the LV, AKA 100LV aka 1LV. In the tv series they had charizard vs. Magmar and they showed the Earth spinning. In the GS game they used that Earth animation ( Just like the animation ). It made the move even more suckier.

SCRATCH/ SLASH where is the blood marks. Even in the game there are some marks.

Explosion.......Was biblical in the games compared to the flash in the animations.

Rock Slide, is basically strength but where the logic in that. I mean it picks up a boulder and throws it at the opponent.

Hydro-pump makes sense. In fact I think Blastoise gets an unfair boost from the cannons. SURF in the animation looks super powerful then the game makes it but again the surf looks more crazier then HYDRO PUMP.
