Mustang is awesome. Wait until later in the Brotherhood series when he gets pissed. It made for the most epic fight he was in. My favorite character is Ed. Mostly because he is a flawed character. he knows hes not perfect and tries to better himself while not letting go of what he believes in.

Ed is good too, but I like Al better xD
 
Hey, don't call Ed a shrimp! He is just vertically challenged. Also I don't know what the big thing is about Al. Ya he's a cool character, but I just have not been able to connect with him the way others have seen to been able to.

I like Winry too. She's a good support character in the series. Also I like that her temper counters Ed's, it makes me happy.
 
And she is the only person who can get away with it. And in fear of ruining the ending of the series I won't dive into that any further.

WEll they are about the same height when the series ends. Give or take an inch or two.
 
Otay! But ya Ed is the man no matter what height he stands at. And I bet he can beat anyone in an arm wrestling match.
 
Al's lack of fatigue would help him but I don't want to believe he can win (though I'm almost positive he would.). Winry would only beat him because she would threaten him in some way.

Or she would hit him over the head with a wrench like in some of the episodes xD
 
I wasn't going to say it but the wrench is typical Winry behavior. I do wonder how Ed has managed not to suffer some sort of head trauma.
 
That would explain a lot if it was. And with his ability as an alchemist I wouldn't put it past him at all.
 
If you saw the first series it was pretty much the same. The plots don't split until lab 7 (i think it was) So no worries, unless you didnt see the first episode in both series. You could always go on funimation and watch the official dub for it.
