If you saw the first series it was pretty much the same. The plots don't split until lab 7 (i think it was) So no worries, unless you didnt see the first episode in both series. You could always go on funimation and watch the official dub for it.

I started watching FMA on episode 10, I starting Brotherhood on 12 :P Both on CN xD
 
I know they have repeated episodes at some point. But either way you need to see the beginning episodes. As awesome as the show is it does loose something if you don't see the first episodes.

Ya you're not going to regret it. Also you can't complete the series without watching those episodes.
 
You and your super schedule. You should be able to watch that in less than 5 hours online.

I finished R+V manga! Now I just have to wait a month for a new chapter to be released D:
 
did'nt take you too long to finish those lengthy 80 chapters. Now it's my turn to speed read and finish Reborn by Thursday. And you could always read the beginning may prove to be a lot faster.

Thats true. But I might watch 5 centimeters per second first xD
 
Yeah, but that's not really the case with FMA:B. Then again, it kind of depends on the person who's watching/reading it really.
