I got gimp like last week, so I decided to start practicing. Feraligator and Blazikens background are my creation, all pics are suta ratio, except the feraligator one, they didn't require credit. Give your 1-10 ratings, remember, I just got GIMP last week.

Thanx, I practice daily. I really don't use brushes, just patterns, but I used a brush on the articuno one. The feraligator in my sig was made by me as well, as was the avatar. Here is a request I did for someone using a custom pattern I made.

Anyway, they look nice so far. I like your effects. You have a little bit of an issue with white pixels on the outlines of the images, but that's really the most I have to complain about.
...Yeah, I suck at this, sue me. D:

You should try using borders on your designs the only one with one is the blaziken one which suits it well.
