For those who check their airdates, it's been one year today since the final 4Kids/WB episode, "Pasta la Vista." People do the whole one year post anniversary, so why not? After enjoying the early 4Kids years vs. PUSA's initial mutation of the show, I was hesitant to want to have a winning formula broken. Then, I watched two of the final Battle Frontier episodes (the first Brandon episode and Once More With Reeling) this morning.
The voices, the flow, everything pretty much clicked in the rawness. With the exception of the music, I was pleased with the ceasing of the pointless edits (like the Text ones in Pasta). It was then I realized that PUSA is overall better for the franchise in terms of the story. Has anyone else had that epiphany after the rabid insanity of the production shift?
I know we've all accepted the change and all, but "maybe it was for the better after all?" I'm not saying it's perfect, mind you, but still enjoyable, anyway. So, I thought to bring up the discussion. And here is Dogasu's Pasta comparison.

I will admit, I really, really, really really miss 4Kids' ability to craft further dub OPs. Particularly in light how impressive they've been getting, but that's my personal opinion. Heh.
