The Argent Tournament OCC

Well obviously they don't need TMs to be awesome, Pikachu was owned by Magikarp XD

Feebas can only learn TM's due to the fact that evolving it into Milotic is more complicated than Magikarp-Gyarados.

I also find it rather comedic that Feebas can learn Attract. Eww...

Much more complicated.
And, XD lulz
But I dont see why they say it's the ugliest pokemon (then they say Milotic is the most beautiful) Because plenty are uglier than Feebas and Milotic definately isn't the most beautiful, in my eyes at least.

I think I'd better state that if a Pokemon cannot learn a move in anyway other than hacking, then you can't use it. Your Pokemon can use generally any move that they can learn, with TM's to a lesser extent.

But remember, you can't win all the time. Throwing out a ridiculously epic move against foe without warning would be a no-no.

EDIT: I'm still going over some sub-plots, and if anyone has anything to contribute to that, feel free to PM me your ideas.

EDIT.2: Janoby can learn Twister via Eggmove

...-_- Not for long[: It shan't take me too long to learn 156 more pokemon[:

Well he's a tough Pokemon. Accept your imminant doom!

And lastly, Feebas isn't useless. Does anyone remember when Ash lost to a Feebas and Magikarp? Plus Feebas can learn TMs.

Alright. I'm, starting to dislike this roleplay because everyone is getting so serious. I have never watched any of the Pokemon anime.

When I say I think Feebas is useless, that sort of implies I don't PLAN to use it until it evolves into Milotic in a long time. Despite that being said, Feebas is probably my worst Pokemon, so I would have no intention of using it.

Just to clear some things up. Sorry if this offended anyone, I came home in a bad mood today.

A side note; Isn't twister supposed to be a weak move? I don't see why its a big deal.

But whatever. Naku, I think it'll be best we talk about how our battle is going to work out and that sort of stuff.

:)

:)

What do you mean by 'Serious'?

I've watched the earlier episodes, and I don't remember much other than Jigglypuff, and Ash beating Brock with Pikachu (Uber much?)

And I second that. It's not an effective move, but I find that many people find Dragon-Type moves overpowered, even if they are only strong against Dragon-types...

@Ray Maverick - I used 3 moves expecting you to dodge at most two and a third landing, plus I technically used solarbeam last turn.
Also, we're each using 4 pokemon, right?
I would have said Jabonii could learn it via egg move but Grif already stated that.

@Project - It's not that serious...
also, i've watched hardly any of the anime, and didn't pay attention to that episode anyways, i'm just saying that Feebas is cool and Magikarp rules the world, not even Ash was able to beat it.

@GrifSpark - The main reason I used twister is because it's the only dragon move Jabonii could learn.

@Raikiri - ...fine, Snorlax hugz you and crushes you[:

It seems i'm upsetting people...
Also, did Kularian have two pokemon evolve?

As in Serious. If I was leading a roleplay, I wouldn't mind someone using twister. When it comes to serious I didn't know a battle between two roleplayers would turn out a big deal. If someone uses three moves in a row, use three moves back. I call it unfair retaliation. But this is your roleplay, your rules. I will do my best to respect it. And when my attitude becomes unbearable. I do agree with Feebas. I must say it is one of the most epic Pokemon. Because of its rarity and its evolution.

As I had said before, I have not had a very good day today and at this moment, it's only getting worse. I don't want to try to take anything out on you guys, its just that every little thing is making me blow up.

When I mean by Feebas being useless, is that its not going to do me much help at this stage. And partley because I dont want to be too far ahead of you guys. As some haven't even caught 1 pokemon yet, I want to imply that its not going to do me good at this stage. It would be awkward putting up the Feebas against the Gabite. Thats why I dont plan to do it. Its my character, anyway. Shouldn't I be able to say I dont want to use my Feebas until it evolves in a very long time?

Ray and Spark, you are doing a good job at running your roleplay. Don't let me try to make you think I'm not. Anything I may of said before this, It was because I'm mad in general.

Anyway, I do not expect another retaliation post. If you are against any of my ideas, please send me a PM. I'd rather keep this OCC chat clean. I'm sorry to any of you this offends. I didn't mean to, I'm just expressing my thoughts.

And again, I just hoped it would be a casual roleplay like the little things wouldn't matter as much. I'm not saying that roleplays that are not casual are not good, its just that I'm used to that, and my ideas are with that idea. :)

If you are against me, PM me please. I will not respond.

Janobii can't learn Twister.

Eww, Serebii...
But yes, he can. As already stated by me, Project and Grif, it's an egg move.

Actually, since this is the first Roleplay I've made, I'd be overjoyed to receive any kind of constructive critisism. And I must agree, it is a little too inconvenient. But that's what I get for not adding a Moves section to the Pokemon sign-up. Oh well, it shouldn't pose too much of a problem.

@Ray Maverick + Nakuzami: If you don't mind, please try and keep the battle brief. I know battling is quite important in this RPG, but we can't let it rule your life! :D

Or can we? Hmm...
It should end soon though.

Yeah... I haven't posted in a while because I'm not sure about what the time is currently. At my timeline in the RPG, I'm about 2 hours away from 5:00 pm.

Grif, the moves section shouldn't be that much of an issue. It is convenient in a way, but more like it shouldn't be there because you can just learn moves in the RPG. But it is a good idea. And thanks for maturely taking my "CC" or my "Anger soda", grifspark.

I've cooled down quite a bit from yesterday, so I'm more open to what you guys have to say now.

hope to see more ^^

EDIT: 69th post! My life is complete

I haven't posted since I have nothing to do. Personally, I'd hate to make a training post. It would feel like a fanfiction and I dislike writing those. Therefore Matthew's training will conveniently take place offscreen.

Yeah, we need to end teh battle soon and start round 2

Dude, how many attacks can your Janobii take? Just saying, because in that case, Jolteon should be invicible. And I wasn't using moves that helped in the situation I had right then, or more than 4 moves, that's so unfair. You've used 10 moves with your Janobii which is pretty much cheating. You can't always win. If you still want to use that many moves, you can do it alone or in another RP. Not here.

@Project. - I'm always mature! *Snicker*
@Raikiri - Go ahead, but if you plan to evolve/catch stuff I'd rather you posted about it.
@Nakuzami - Yup, yup!
@RayMeverick - Agreed.
@Eeveelution - Good to have you back!

Anyway, onto sub-missions throughout the RPG. I shall now be posting them every once in a while for each character. As expected, more than one player may be faced with the same mission. Eg, both GrifSpark and Ray get attacked by Pokemon, run!

Eeveelution + Project.
You are just about to leave the hotel, as you hear a scream come from down the hall. If you choose the curious route, you come across two men wearing rather unrecognisable clothes, attempting to mug a customer with their Pokemon (A Seviper and a Mankey)
What do you do?

Ray Maverick + Nakuzami
The battle between your two characters is heating up, each trainer taking no advantage over the other. The battle continues for only a few seconds longer, until the inevitable happens. One of the attacks misses wildly and strikes a near-by Starly. It calls for its flock, who respond immediatly by swarming the skies. Just a moment later, the leader Staraptor dives, preparing to strike the attackers, with the flock following suit.
What do you do?

Kularian
The Grovyle move in for the kill, readying their claws and preparing to strike. Whether you fight them off or simply run, it both ends in the same outcome. You are lost...
What do you do?

Raikiri + GrifSpark
After the two characters run into eachother, nothing interesting seems to happen. You seem either oblivious to the Staraptor swarm, or you simply ignore it. You soon run into a traveller, who seems to be in a rush. You question him, making him reveal he is on the trail of an exceedingly rare Pokemon. You may offer to help him, ignore him, or try and track down the Pokemon yourself.
What do you do?

I think that that's everyone. If I missed anyone out, let me know.
